i fin it time saving in play by post games to simply post what a character can read, understand, or write in another language if i feel that info will be shared with the others in a party. that way when the player wants to explain what info is they do not have to explicitly recreate it word for word to the others. so when they post that they relayed the info it is already in post the others have already read once.

you are about ten to twelve km from the nearest large settlement. possibly two to four km from any smaller settlements in the area.

you did, fedor brought it up. you could be driving all three. it seems that the GM, tried too hard again to make things work out as mentioned and didn't include all the vehicles. not that it official and you have brought up the fact, you may indeed have all three vehicles. but, since YOU brought it up you must unfortunately fall victim to dysentery and died screaming.
