close in fights can be really brutal, once the CUF rolls start going against combatants in close range fights the other side tends to roll over them in short order.
Definitely. Since we wanted to try out a lot of the rules for the Alpha and Beta tests, we did Artillery (from mortars to howitzers), IFV and Tanks. Holy shit. When shells start to fall things get REAL intense.
THE IFV are beasts, but when you start to travel with them, they eat SO much gas.
I'll probably start a campaign proper with my home group; we're thinking of doing an M1A1 tank group, where every PC is basically one of the crew and they'll just be "post apo road tripping" through Poland in their tank.
It'll be like "The Man With No Name" but it's a Tank instead of Clint Eastwood :)
