Went on Scribd & downloaded the Techno Mage Fact book since there is very little on the Techno Mages as far as hard data (places of power, spells, etc.)

Its for the B5 tabletop role playing game but it will be a good source of reference for playing Exedore.

Think using a modified blaster to preform firebolts or things like that may be the way to go?

I have read the Techno Mage Fact Book - it had stuff i already knew, stuff i never knew & alot that i had forgotten.

Its based off the 3 book series, The Passing of the Techno Mages which i have read years ago...This book will help!

I've never read those books but I really should try and see if they are on kindle sometime.

The books really expand on the Techno Mages and tell of Techno Mage Galen's story before his exploits in the B5 movie" A Call to Arms" and the series "Crusade".

Hope our GM logs in soon so i can go over a few things.

Ordered "Babylon 5: Crusade" today - haven't seen the series in ages & it will be more research on the Techno mages for me as there is a Techno Mage (Galen) on the crew of the Excalibur.

Yeah, seems that way.  Maybe we'll get lucky in another few months, it could well be that whatever was causing problems before flared up for him again.  It would just be nice if we knew that was what happened.

Its been 9 days since he came back to the game - he might still have things going on as he did say he would read back up on our characters & post in a day or two before he went dark again.

It always makes me hopeful and then depressed when this pops back up top of my games list.  I keep thinking maybe we will actually continue and then we don't.

Yeah...His RL stuff perhaps is still with him...

So I am thinking of opening a new game for this as I like the idea of it far too much.  You would be welcome to bring the current characters (I would be bringing mine over as a GM PC).

If I do this I won't guarantee we will move very quickly but we would be able to move along at a hopefully continuous pace (once or twice a week most likely).

Things to consider.

Rating:
Would you prefer to stick with an M rating?  Would you rather go with with Adult rating?  I do not think that going with the kid friendly rating would work out too well given some of the themes and events of the series since B5 has always come off as a bit more gritty than that.

Characters:
You could bring the same or make new ones.

Story:
How involved in the events do you want to be and how close to the original story should they follow?

Other:
As I come up with other questions.

I know of no one else who would play a B5 game sadly.

I would only push to mature if you wanted to curse like a sailor - otherwise im good where it is.

Its your story - you could change the story to as little or alot at your discretion but i would keep the general framework...it'll be our "what if?" If that makes sense...
