Apologies for the delay - had an interesting couple of days. We have three that have submitted concepts. I will get your opening threads up this weekend that will be your personal spaces and then a few public locations like Down Below, the Zocalo, Green Sector, etc. If you have specific requests, please let me know. You can post in both your personal threads and the public threads.

All good - RL comes first. I started a new job recently & warehouse work can put a dampener on posting more frequently but can put up something every 2-3 days...Ready when you are!

I understand RL delays all too well.

Char is hoping to set up a Restaurant called "The Dionysus" but would most likely need to get some help procuring the ingredients needed for some of the out worldly dishes.  Has any PCs got IC connections with down below or alien suppliers?

So sad that this ended like it did.  I would have left it dead but thought t was worth asking if anyone else has heard about the B5 remake and are hoping it turnsout as good as I hope it does.

Yeah, WB is doing a remake of the series, it was supposed to be this year but with their getting bought it has been pushed back to the 2022-2023 calendar.

They got J Michael Strazynxki (sp?) to come back and do the relaunch.  It is supposed to be a re-imagining of the series and I feel if nayone can do it right it will be the original creator of th eshow.

Yeah, I would like to see this game get going again one day too as it had a lot of potential.

I want to first apologize for my long-term disappearance. As I shared, there were some personal tragedies as well as major career changes that threw life into disruption. I am looking to phase back in and was wondering if there is still interest on the part of any of the cast to resurrect this game?

It's good to hear that things are straightening out for you and letting you get back to gaming.

I am certainly interested in continuing this one.

Went on Scribd & downloaded the Techno Mage Fact book since there is very little on the Techno Mages as far as hard data (places of power, spells, etc.)

Its for the B5 tabletop role playing game but it will be a good source of reference for playing Exedore.

well taking into account that Techno mages use Technology to simulate magic.

Think using a modified blaster to preform firebolts or things like that may be the way to go?

I have read the Techno Mage Fact Book - it had stuff i already knew, stuff i never knew & alot that i had forgotten.

Its based off the 3 book series, The Passing of the Techno Mages which i have read years ago...This book will help!

I've never read those books but I really should try and see if they are on kindle sometime.

The books really expand on the Techno Mages and tell of Techno Mage Galen's story before his exploits in the B5 movie" A Call to Arms" and the series "Crusade".

Hope our GM logs in soon so i can go over a few things.

Ordered "Babylon 5: Crusade" today - haven't seen the series in ages & it will be more research on the Techno mages for me as there is a Techno Mage (Galen) on the crew of the Excalibur.

Yeah, seems that way.  Maybe we'll get lucky in another few months, it could well be that whatever was causing problems before flared up for him again.  It would just be nice if we knew that was what happened.

Its been 9 days since he came back to the game - he might still have things going on as he did say he would read back up on our characters & post in a day or two before he went dark again.

It always makes me hopeful and then depressed when this pops back up top of my games list.  I keep thinking maybe we will actually continue and then we don't.

So I am thinking of opening a new game for this as I like the idea of it far too much.  You would be welcome to bring the current characters (I would be bringing mine over as a GM PC).

If I do this I won't guarantee we will move very quickly but we would be able to move along at a hopefully continuous pace (once or twice a week most likely).

Things to consider.

Rating:
Would you prefer to stick with an M rating?  Would you rather go with with Adult rating?  I do not think that going with the kid friendly rating would work out too well given some of the themes and events of the series since B5 has always come off as a bit more gritty than that.

Characters:
You could bring the same or make new ones.

Story:
How involved in the events do you want to be and how close to the original story should they follow?

Other:
As I come up with other questions.

have asked around but alas that is a no from anyone I asked.

I know of no one else who would play a B5 game sadly.

I would only push to mature if you wanted to curse like a sailor - otherwise im good where it is.

Its your story - you could change the story to as little or alot at your discretion but i would keep the general framework...it'll be our "what if?" If that makes sense...
