Two weeks have happened since the shocking revelation made by Loose Cannon to Alloy about the possibility Matilda Stewart, his deceased wife is still alive. Since then, Hal has been trying to investigate everything he can about Genesys and his CEO Maximillian Valentine.

Thanks to some contacts Alloy has discovered that Maximillian Valentine is thinking in the possiblity to hire some legionnaires to make a work for him. It was not easy to get this information but Alloy's contacts are solid and that person even got an appointment with Valentine himself.

Alloy looked for a way in to avoid getting to plan C maybe a direct assault, but that won't be necessary. So things are ready and tomorrow Justice Front will offer their mercenary services to Maximillian Valentine, a strike of luck Alloy cannot believe.

Hatfield is reading a book. It's a fairly large paperback with a yellow cover boldly embossed with the words Employment for Dummies. "Nine digits, eh. Guess your ancestors didn't think this through. Back home, we use letters and numbers. My own social security number is f23a5d. Do ya think it'll bother the guy to be hirin' an illegal alien? Technically, that's what I am. Deportation wouldn't be an easy task, though."

Lyndsey doing much the same, trying to keep her job going as money makes the world go round.

Not having any need for money, or difficulty getting it when she does, Alana spends her two weeks traveling around the country in various vehicular forms.  At least once a day, more often when she encounters them, she stops by at some library with free but limited internet access to check the email she uses as a drop box for team updates.

When she gets the one about an upcoming mission she quickly and quietly exits the library, turns into a fast car to get out of the little town she is in and to a deserted stretch of road.  Once there and alone she turns into an oddly miniaturized F15 about a quarter the length of a normal one, and takes off to fly very very fast back to the big city.

Although Loose Cannon dislikes the idea of returning to the presence of Maximillian Valentine but there are more things at stake that only his preferences, there is a reason to do this and it is to uncover the truth about the fate of his friend's wife.

LC, who now lives with Hal in his department is in front of a mirror trying his new outfit, wrestler type expandex that covers every inch of his body and a white, blue and red lucha libre mask.

Prepare yourself world, Luchador Americano is out in the streets fighting crime.

Crusader took some weekend warrior types out for a survival tour. He had a couple days off to research new threats before Hal's message came through. He made sure he was in full costume with his new mask, which covered tge top half of his face and head, but left his mouth exposed to communicate with his team.

Hal is dead quiet and serious. No wise cracks. No jokes.

"You know something about this guy LC? Valentine?"

He is my father Hal, or at least that is what he told me. I thought that was a reality in the beginning but the more I know the outsider world the more I think he was speaking metaphorically.

A group of (clearly) super powered citizens enter the Genesys building, an imposing skyscraper in the middle of the __________* District. A secretary receive the group and after Alloy introduces himself as the group Mr. Valentine was waiting for, the secretary asks:

How should I announce your group?

*To be honest I could not find anywhere where the offices of Genesys are located.

"The Justice Front ma'am. That's our team name."

Crusader focused on building an internal map of this new building. He was using his radar and hearing for that. His head tilted oddly.

Hatfield is grumpily quiet. Except for a mumbled "I hate concrete" on the way into the building. He focuses on sensing dimensional energies to take his mind off being indoors. [Private to GM: Hatfield isn't looking for anything, I'm just trying to express his personality.]

Lyndsey follows along with everyone else, never having been here before.

Having transitioned mid air from fast moving jet to a significantly smaller and quieter glider form Alana stands up into her humanoid form out of that one once she touches down on the driveway of the address they were sent to.

Accompanying the others inside in her humanoid form to best navigate stairs, doors, and tight spaces, she keeps a close watch on the surroundings, often even looking behind as they continue deeper into what is most certainly some kind of trap.

Loose Cannon had never seen that part of the building as he escaped by the roof and then using telekinesis on a piece of metak on which he was standing so he could reach another building's top. The rest is history. But he knows that is the place where he was held captive for six months and the place where he met Grace, Hal's wife?

Maximilliam Valentine receives the team on his office. He looked at the group and stared by a few seconds over Loose Cannon, who preferred to evade Valentine's eyes.

I have good references about you, even CHIMERA has some register of one of your feats thanks to which a little kid was recovered from kidnappers. I know you have decided not to register and that is one of the reasons why I decided to hire your services.

We are having some serious suspicions that someone is stealing industrial secrets that belong to Genesys. We haven't been able to determine whether it has been systematic or at once and we ignore whether it was made remotely or there is someon in this building stealing them.

We have preferred our security bodies not to get into this investigation but rather hiring outsiders because should you discover the stealers, I want you to...you know...disappear these robbers.

In that moment a phone call enters and Maximilliam responds. Alloy who is very interested into getting more info  about Genesys is ready with super technology that connects to the incoming call and records any converstion in certain range.

Excuse me...hi darling...

Two of the subjects are ready for the test, do we proceed?

Sure, go ahead.

It was her voice, the voice Hal listened for years and knows as much as his own. It was Matilda's voice.
