Our scene opens once again in the office of DI Stone where the team has been gathered after an all too short rest.

The video monitors around the walls are all set to display maps of Century Station from different eras going all the way back to when it was literally just a single train station.

Guardian smiled as he looked over the maps. Each brought back its own suite of memories, both good and bad. He is lost in these memories, enjoying the trip down memory lane.

Agent Force stands, almost at attention, front and center awaiting DI Stone's instructions. Running his eyes over those ostensibly in charge AF notes Hatfield McCoy. With a concerned look, AF says "I'm neither wendigo nor Noppera-bō, and I'm not anything else you've dredged up, either. I used to have a face, this is the result of some sort of accident."
After a moment, AF turns to Alana, "you should note this. People that regularly deal with mystical hazards will attempt to categorize you as whatever  monster you're similar to. In your case they'll imagine you some sort of evil shapeshifter. I make it a habit to look out for the habitually reality challenged and explain myself before they start shooting. Some of them are a little trigger happy."

Upon the ceiling, as he usually is, Escorpion has, this time, chosen to sit on a chair this time, apparently as a joke on everyone else who sits in a chair upon the floor.  What makes his stunt impressive is the fact that the chair itself is not capable of sticking to the ceiling, and, is, infact, held in place strictly by the strength of his legs, because his feet are all that adhere to the surface.
So, this is my first time working with this team.  How is the night shift?

When the meeting started one of the chairs against the wall stood up into the humanoid form known as Alana, waiting and ready for the briefing to start.  When it becomes clear that they have a little bit of time for chatter before anything important happens she joins in, if only briefly.  ”I don't generally deal with magic, and even the most trigger happy people tend to accept technology well enough, besides a few bullets never hurt anyone.”
