Okay so the new RPOL is messing with my eyes a bit.

We will still be going forward and I hope all of you are still with me.

Both storylines will get updates next Tuesday 1/9/2024.

Alright that ends the current issues and we'll pick up the next issues on Thursday for both comics.

Teams will be reshuffled somewhat due to changing mission goals.

If anyone really really wants to be involved in one story or the other (say you really want to hunt the Missing Nuke rather than the Queen of the Bruja) let me know and I'll put you in that one. Albedo and Guardian unfortunately have little choice in the matter (although you can, as team leaders, request certain personnel be made available).

Alright, I've not gone missing or anything. Just hit a snag writing the next part.

I've pushed the start of the next issues back to Tuesday the 24th.

Hmm... I thought that this coming Tuesday was January, 23rd ... Wowie, I just realized that the next January 24th that falls on a Tuesday is not until 2034!  The next month with the 24th on Tuesday, is this coming September (not as spectacular, since it is not as far out).

More seriously, good to know you are okay, @Control.  And take all the time you need, you have the much larger and hard job of GMing with all of the heavy lifting.

And thank you for running this game, I can only speak for myself, but it is greatly appreciated.  The game is a lot of fun and GMing can be a lot of work (and often thankless - but, I can solve that latter one, by saying 'Thank You!').

I have started the next issues (finally. really sorry about the hold up) and once everyone posts themselves into the scene we'll be off continuing the stories.

There HAVE been some changes in the teams to reflect more applicable skillsets so take note of which one you are now on.

I'll give this a couple of days for everyone to notice that the game is on and then we will move on with whoever we have.

Okay, I have failed here in a very real way. Got sick (4th round of covid) and dropped the ball.

Then couldn't think of what to say for several days and so I just watched the time since Id been here grow.

That led to me doing that thing that I hate most of all on RPOL; ghosting you guys.

For these crimes I apologize.

Glad to you know you okay, @Control.  Sorry to hear about your RL woes (Covid sucks); hopefully, you are on the mend.  There is nothing to apologize for, RL comes first (as Cryo said).  Come back to us when you can (and you are inspired to do so).

I don't know that I deserve players as loyal as the three of you but the fact that you are all still here banishes the thought of shutting this game down.

So once again let me ask, who is still in?

Alright so we clearly have some RPOL veterans mixed in here.

Let me ask two things;

1. Is anyone interested in helping out with the job of GMing? This was originally meant to be a game where I ran one group and played in the other. This isn't mandatory but it would help. Game goes on either way but at a different speed. :)

2. Does anyone want to offer some advice on how to keep them more interested? For example handing over planning to the PCs seems to have been a non-starter for both groups.

I am uncomfortable being the "star" of an entire arch. a scene or two is fine, but everyone should get their time in the spotlight. I should have brought this up sooner, but I really didn't know how to do this without seeming ungrateful.

I have too much on my plate to commit to co-gm right now. Sorry.

I'm sorry.  I've been moving, and I keep forgetting to post in my games.  That being said, I am sorry, but I also cannot co-GM at this time.
