Mechanics and Systems
As stated in the primer, Corporate Warfare uses the Warhammer test system for skills and combat. However, there are a few changes, namely to the skills and characteristics themselves.
Characteristics are physical stats of your character, and are used to define skill values.
They are as follows:
Melee: Close quarters combat, either armed or unarmed
Range: Ranged accuracy
Prowess: Physical strength and healthiness
Finesse: Manual dexterity and coordination
Sense: The five physical senses as well as gut feelings and intuition
Intelligence: Book smarts
Charisma: People skills
Basic skills are common tasks that everyone should be able to perform, such as persuasion.
They are as follows:
Athleticism: Physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects or swimming
Coerce: Get someone to do what you want, not always violently
Recall: Remember common knowledge
Search: Look for something hidden or obscured
Sneak: Do something sneaky or remain hidden
Advanced skills require specialist knowledge, schooling, or are otherwise unavailable to the average person.
Some examples are:
Academic knowledge: Any science or trade, like surgery, engineering, or physics
License: Ability to operate a type of vehicle, ranging from cars to spaceships
