Welcome to the Colonial Gothic 3E game.

This game will be new to many of playing as well as myself running the game.  I have always had an interest in playing this kind of setting and genre since I bought and played a similar game called A Touch of Evil over 10 years ago.  As a wargamer as well with miniatures in the Colonial Times, it is a pleasure to provide gaming entertainment in this setting for you.

There will be times when a rule or error in judgment is made by myself or the players. It is expected and I want this game to be as pleasurable to you as well.  I am not going to list a decree of violation standards as you all know how to behave.

If there is an issue, this will be the place to voice it, but do so in mature way.

Thank you for joining.

I have uploaded your characters and started the first posting.
Trying to figure out the "table" and "formatting" on this site as I have not used it in quite a long time.

Sorry players, give me a few more days.  I will post something Saturday.  Life has interrupted me lately from getting online. Some good, mostly bad.  Todays is first chance in quite awhile, but I have something going on in an hour with the kids at their school.

I did not forget this game :)

Sorry for the late notice, but I was wondering if you are all still interested in playing.  Life took over during the last few months.

I have decided to use the upgraded system Flames of Freedom using the Zweihander Rules rather than the Colonial Gothic as I feel they rules may be better mechanics wise on RPOL (uses D10 Percentiles & D6 Damage dice.)

I am in the processes of converting the characters to the new game system if you are interested in continuing or restarting the game.

Flames of Freedom, like Colonial Gothic, is set in the American Colonies as a Historical Supernatural horror style game.

Your characters are up on the site.  Do you want to start a new scenario or continue with the Peekskill scenario we started?

I will explain the rules as we go along, but most dice rolls will be percentile 1D100 and you want to roll low.  If you roll any doubles (22, 33, 44, etc) you get a critical success, unless say your Martial Ranged is a 64 and you roll a 66, you get a critical failure.

Damage dice or Fury dice as they call it in this system is rolled using D6 dice.  All Weapons gain a basic damage score, but you can add Fury dice to cause deadlier damage.

Yes, either way is fine.  Since we hadn't gotten very far starting over won't make much difference.
