Character Creation

As per the core rulebook. Happy if you want to randomly generate or select options or a mixture of both as you wish.

Gameplay

I've been thinking about the best way to run combat as I fear that the as-written rules of selecting the next person to go could really slow things down.

I'm thinking to start with if we play it that the PCs go first (in order of posting) followed by the Villains and then the Environment. It takes some of the tactical choices out of combat but will also keep things, hopefully, moving briskly. Not playtested this at all so happy to review after the first couple of encounters. It may work wonderfully or it may just be that we have to go back to the standard (which may not even be a problem if everyone is relative in sync timings wise).

When posting if you are doing something which involves a roll best just go ahead and do it before you post. While there is a possibility I will take issue with the dice pool you have assembled for that roll it's pretty low and so far better to keep things moving by rolling at the time rather than waiting for approval.

Similarly if you get the 1-3 result of 'fail or succeed with a major twist' then it helps if you outright state at the time if you'll take the twist or fail. In deviation from the written rules (again for the sake of speed) I won't announce twists beforehand and give you the choice - it's pot luck what will happen!

On the subject of twists if you can think of any good ones (related to your principles or otherwise) when one is called for on the dice it is really helpful if you suggest it in your post. I'm always happy to hear out ideas for exciting twists as a) they might be better than mine and b) saves me thinking up loads of twists!
