The monster's AC is 16. I should have mentioned this after the first attack, as everyone would generally know how hard to hit something is, plus, this lets you write your own cool attack post instead of me narrating one.  my bad.

I edited the latest post for an easier read. I like to make use of commas too much as a writing crutch instead of writing proper sentences.

Also, another 1200 exp for discovering a new monster,
Divided by 4, so 300 more exp each, bringing each person to +600 exp total

Hmm... I'm thinking... At first it was reminding me of a Choker goblin from d&d. Should it be named by powers or mere appearances, is the main question.

Quick refresher, the distant light is the place the party is trying to reach.  They can always return by turning around.  The place they entered is right behind them after all, much how a shadow can be long in one direction and short in another.  It may have taken a day of travel to get here, but would only take fifteen minutes to leave.

If you are ever wondering if you will be in a place for too long, look at the story arc.  I DM in threes.  The rule of three if you will.

So, three locations, three encounters, three escalations etc.

Rather, i try to wrap up story threads in three steps, introduction, escalation, and conclusion.    Three of these together makes an Arc.

Three arcs makes an adventure.

I also like to keep combat to around three rounds or less.  Mostly prefer one round, let you clobber baddies senseless.  This is because combat rounds on here take up a week, so four rounds would be an entire month on a few seconds of combat.  Eeeeeeeeeek

If Tidale figures that out then he may be more liberal with his Smite in the future.

Understood, also time is weird on graveyard shift, i think i looked at this game yesterday and it's already a week

I've been inverted schedule the past few days. It isn't pleasant but when we have no better choices we do as we must.

I think I'm going to bow out of this game, I had a lot of fun and wish you the best but at this point it's just really hard to get into character and be motivated to post as Dove. Please forgive me and I wish you all the best.

I'm going to put this game on ice, my heart isn't in it and hasn't been for months.
