Random fact: I pulled all fifty states in Excel, used the Geography object to pull their populations, and divided by a million to get the Godbound totals originating in each locale. Some Mid-West states have to share.

So, hooks and tie ins for anyone who wants to build on.

The Twins have not been blatant in the last month, but neither have they been subtle amongst the budding mythological community. They pretty quickly opened up their consulting agency, somehow finding connections to the corporate world that they shouldn't have been able to find, and built a rep that should have taken years in a week. If your character has Miracle generated wealth, or any particular Gifts for finding out information, then it's pretty easy to learn that the Twins are looking to interview people to build a roster of supernatural talent. Connecting supply to demand, as it were.

Anyone looking to connect with other Divinities would have a lot to gain from connecting with them, as would anyone looking to buy or sell their talents.

Specifically, Contract Law.  If you want someone to agree to do something, and know that they will follow through, you go through the Twins.

I feel your pain Renita, I have a few different ideas. With how the gameplay/team is looking, does anyone have thoughts on which would be better between a seer and a warrior? Those are two things I'm especially looking at right now :) Although maybe I should specify that they're kinda-sorta a seer and warrior respectively.

See, I tend to have new concepts pop in mind after I get my first character idea nailed down. :) I actually am kind of considering side-sliding to an eco-scientist heroine instead of a trickster fox. Decisions, decisions, pity me.

For what it's worth I'm debating throwing a rebuild request on the GM's patience as well. >.>

This will make it interesting for my character as his background will be a former federal law enforcement agent.  But I can work with it.



Not Sam.  He is the person called in when the courts fail.  When I thought about how he would be I thought of the Spectre from DC comics (Golden Age) but also High Plains Drifter.  He is meant to wreak blood and death on the unjust :-)

The Twins would love to have a cleaner on retainer.

Solid, depending on what direction they want to go, of course.

Sam is a retired Fed with a "team of people" who help him find targets.  The Feds know about him but he is not in their employ for deniability.   He is also not a killer for hire unless you point him at other killers.  Have a problem with a mob hitman or a serial killer?  Call Sam.  That Jackass Banker foreclose on your house through crooked means?  Not so much.  But if the Banker has hired people who killed...Call Sam.

What's the narrative flow of the game looking to be? Like, are we all going to end up as a big "adventure team" by the end, or is it going to be more like a somewhat self-motivated sandbox like the old one?

Sorry everyone, got dragged into a six hour project I was not expecting which kind of killed my afternoon and evening. I'm doing a quick response to some PMs and will hopefully be able to sort out details in the morning.

As a quick summary of something asked earlier: some of you have vaguely known you were reincarnations for a long time, even having minor powers. Others got it slammed into them with a boatload of strange memories one day. Everything has been building up steam for a month or two and seems to be tapering off. Disbelief was rampant but a few flashy displays around the world, including a palace acting like Howl's Moving Castle moving past Chicago to reach the Great Lakes more or less tipped the consensus to 'yes, it's not a hoax' but public and institutional reactions are varied.

Also, not going to make you act as an adventuring party but keep in mind that confronting serious opposition solo is very dangerous.

I went with a combat focus and I'd be happy to team up with others! As long as they're the do-gooding sort :)
