How does combat work? Do wait to post in init order? What is the order or do we just post when we can?

I think that the ones that roll higher than the enemy go first, then enemies, then everyone goes.
By the way, rolled 4 on initiative.


08:44, Today: Geoffrey rolled 4 using 1d20+1.  Initiative

Since it was basically just a case of "walk in, see rats, open fire", I assumed it'd be everyone rolling their Initiative and starting attacks, then figuring out what order things fall in from there.  Also, this first round may have counted the Rats as being Surprised, in which case Initiative wouldn't have mattered?

Glorandal    12 (Dead rat?  They've got, like, 1 hp)

Assuming that all tracks correctly, all the rats should be dead and/or unconscious by this point, unless they have more HP than I expect.

Stealth checks... the bane of those in heavy armor and mages everywhere.  lol

Yes. I am looking at a stealth character but it is something that needs some temperance.

Specially in RPOL where scouting ahead can be an incredibly long process. I'm weighing my option before we hit lvl 3 and a path is committed to.

For fun gameplay just rushing in often works better.

This is the second game I've gotten Glimmersteel in. The first game died quickly so I hope things are just on pause.

Ah, taking that as a sign that they too rolled really low initiative. Meaning the players go first.
