A man wearing a blue outfit walked in.

"Hear ye Hear ye the messages are here."

He then walks around dropping parcels off at the bar and coming up to Glorandal.

"You Glorandal Jezeros?"

Looking up at the messenger with a surprised expression on his face, Glorandal swallows the bite of biscuit he had just taken and wipes his mouth. "Uh.. yes, well, Glorandal Jozeiros, that is I..." he says haltingly, wondering who would be sending him a message, and how they knew where to find him.

"There was a short feller. Said he was leaving town and didn't know when he'd be back. Wanted me to find and tell you. Say do you know where I can find Lucia the glazier?"
The messenger said.

"Well normally you would find her just off of Market Square; opening her shop for the day.  You are in luck however and she is sitting right here." Lucia said with a whimsical smile.

Valaric spent the night in the inn, doing meditation with his blade. In between making some healing Elixers (6).
3 short rests
In the morning he made his way downstairs to join the others. Eating breakfast and joining his fellowship.

"I was told to give you this pouch by an old man, said it was remainder of a debt that he owed to your parents."

Glorandal mulled over this message, sipping his ale, while Lucia was speaking to the messenger. "Are you speaking of Erroth?? Surely he didn't take off in the night after telling us he would see us in the morning..." then thinking on it for a moment, "This whole situation has been quite strange."

Lucia accepted the pouch with a puzzled look on her face.  "Did he give you his name?" she asked.

She couldn't think of any outstanding debts owed.  Of course it could just be one of the guildsmen from Yenice wanting to make sure the orphaned children had enough money to keep the new shop going here.  Either way she'd like to thank the man.

"Korrick, Korlick...something like that, he said it was worth more than gold though."

The name (if the messenger had gotten it right) was unfamiliar to Lucia, but she had been very busy being Master Gursel's apprentice for several years.  She would have to write to the Glassblowers' Guild to see what she could learn of the man.

"Thank you very much." she told the messenger as she put the pouch in her backpack.

It was at that moment Geoffrey woken up from his short nap. He makes a big yawn and looks toward the others,"Morning, are you all ready to deliver some butt whooping to that Rat Queen yet. I'm pretty ready, avenging deaths of stablehands and what not." he says, one eye looks about ready to take another nap while the other is already closed for the day.

Glornadal finishes his breakfast and leans toward Lucia, "You're not even going to open it to see what it is?" he says quizzically.

Lucia frowned as she looked over at Glorandal; her hand still in her backpack.  "But it's em..."  She stopped mid-sentence as her fingers felt the pouch again.  There was something square inside it.  "I take that.  It seems there is something in there."

Pulling the pouch back out, she opened it and peered inside.

OOC:  Okay, what does she find inside?  lol

Inside the pouch is a small copper square with writing on it. It is too dim to see in the bag.

"So when ye gon kill them ratties? Death don' come t' them alone." he said scowling.

The door to the Whispering Dragon swings open suddenly with a rattle and a thud as it reaches the far extent of its hinges. Heads in the Inn turn at the sudden swinging of the door with no apparent cause. Then suddenly as it recoils and is half-way closed a man slides into the room with a grand step and adjust his collar dramatically.

What occurs first to those looking on is uncertain. Is it his outlandishly colorful garb or the fact he's either a huge halfling or a very small human as he stands just shy of 5 feet and looks to weigh as much as an average adolescent girl.

ting, ting, ting the bells on his hat chime as he takes a few steps inward.

"Glimmersteel Pommelguard, knife juggler extraordinaire, at your service." he announces as he bows. "May I speak to the owner of this fine establishment for I wish to bring to him..or..ummm.. her...the chance to untold wealth and renown."

"Don't worry owner, we'll handle your rat problem once we finish breakfast. Which I'm done and ready to fight." Geoffrey says raising a big sword, then looks at the new arrival with a raise eyebrow,"Oh, did you hire entertainment. Is it someone's birthday, is their cake? Can I eat your cake? Or should I get an invite first?" the muscular man asks the owner important questions.

I didn't  hire entertainment for th' blokes that`re doing me work! If'n yer don kill me ratties! He looks slightly upset.

Roxhalia is just looking pale in the corner.

Valaric takes everything in with a quick glance. "Glimmersteel, is it? I know the owner but he is a might upset to talk business now, but if you care to join us in killing some rats I will introduce you to him and guarantee he will be in a better mood." Looks to the others gathered for breakfast, which he met yesterday. " Time to earn our pay and kill some rats, let's be on our way shall we?"

Glimmersteel's smile subdues somewhat as the man who seems to be the establishment's owner replies. It seems in his haste to find employment Glimmersteel has stumbled into a bit of an issue. He needed to keep moving though and if this group provided that motion then he was happy to follow along and see where it took him. Glimmersteel remembered what his mentor always said, "Life truly is random, just go with it."
Undaunted he nods to Jerron and Valaric.

"I see. Rats is it? I understand of course, you must take care of the mundane before you can enjoy the marvelous. I shall aid you in this cleansing, my performance shall follow." Glimmersteel stomps his foot on the floor in exclamation and the bells in his hat jingle.

Looking at Valaric and the rest, "You may call me Glim. At your service."

Glorandal, having finished his breakfast, and at the goading of Jerron, stands and nodding to Glim and Valaric "Yes, I'm sure we could use any help. I'm Glorandal, but you may call me Glory. It's a pleasure to meet such a... colorful personage." he says with a smile, "I look forward to your marvelous performance once our task is complete."

There was something written on the square, but before she could take it out to see what it was, a jester entered the tavern and interrupted her train of thought.

"Lucia Bardakci.  Good morning to you."

Since it seemed they were off to go after the rats and their queen, Lucia closed the pouch back up and put it in her backpack.  She stood up and returned her pack to in its place on her back.

"I'm ready when you are."

"Geoffrey, just Geoffrey, great to meet you stranger." the muscular man says, then clap his hands together as Lucia states her readiness,"Grand, let's move out on the double then. That rat queen ain't gonna get her butt kick herself."

Falling in line with this group of strangers Glimmersteel keeps pace as best he can. His short legs stepping quickly to keep pace with the larger and longer gait of his new companions.

jing, jing, jing the bells on his hat chime away with every step.

"I'm quite good at being sneaky you know." he says to whomever will listen.

jing...jing...jing....



"Queen!? Queen you say. I thought it was just rats.... hmmmm... If it was just rats a flute would be good to have. Does anyone have a flute? Didn't know rats had a queen though. We should get some cheese."
