Welcome to Call of Cthulhu! This is a roleplaying game of horror and is based upon the works of H.P. Lovecraft.

The setting for this game is Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1920.  You and the other player characters have recently assembled to form a paranormal investigation team.  You will be investigating reports of paranormal activity and you will try to discover what's really happening and possibly how to resolve any issues.

To play, you must first create a character for yourself. Possible ideas for a character are private detectives, amateur sleuths, journalists, paranormal researchers, or even simply a friend or family member with a vested concern.  However, these are only suggestions.  You can create any type of character that you might find in a horror story or movie appropriate to this setting.
