Sorry, I haven't posted recently, inspiration hasn't come to smack me in the head as of yet. I would love that, your are a good DM and I really enjoyed this game. But like you said it needs more players, it's a cool idea. Sounds like you have something similar to me, I compulsively create characters, you compulsively create games.

What do you think Numen and Braara might be the deities of? I don't wanna step on your toes and-- for example-- invent a new deity and then it turns out what I say they're in charge of is what you felt Numen or Braara were in charge of...

I was thinking Numen is the creator and his wife is the sustainer of life. How does that sound? Divinely inspired? And I imagine they cover a variety of minor fields as well.

I want to talk about Thizuth, but once again, I don't want to step on your toes. So, let's discuss.

--Thizuth is a deity? Yes/no?

--If so, do you already have an idea of what, exactly? If so, of what? If not, that's fine.

Don't worry about it, this is more your world than mine. I haven't thought too much about Thizuth, I just figure he is the satan of this world. Maybe god of death, control, pestilance?

Okay how about:

Thizuth: deity of change and unexpected surprises (chaotic neutral with violent tendencies)
--Disruption, rebellion, opposition, violence
--Opposition includes the other deities, therefore:
----Opposition to Numen: destruction, endings
----Opposition to Braara: famine, pestilence, lack, want
----Opposition to Noric: being lost, blindness, things that are buried, stillness

So, not exactly totally evil, but violent and disruptive.

I figure that there are lots of folktales of Thizuth as a child being mischievous, but Thizuth grew up to be worse.

Also figure that Thizuth is not just male nor female, but can change forms at will

I don't think any of the deities were born from a mother... I think they just came into being when huge natural phenomena happened.
--Numen: when the universe first began
--Braara: when plants first started growing
--Noric: the first time the sun completely set
--Thizuth: when the first earthquake happened (or the first time people witnessed a big volcanic eruption?)

Cool! I've been a sucker for lizard and/or dinosaur mounts for a long time so this is neat. I was thinking the Suspend spell can only be used once a day under normal circumstances, but what if the imbalance brought on by Thizuth was allowing people to use it multiple times a day?

Oh, sure, STRANGERS. But in THEIR OWN community, they're expected to be generous with EACH OTHER. Well, they don't even expect that, exactly, but they respect it if someone actually does it.

They're a pretty sheltered little bunch. Ossau people age 30 and up still don't know quite what to make of the Ixen and Sabral people walkin' around... (young people just think they're kinda neat.)

We have the exact same train of thought.
