Okay, now you either make a new Individual, or tell about something more that happens to one of your individuals.

New OOC Thread

I'll stick with these guys for now for some consistency, sorry I'm making it so boring, I wanted to get the first sort of ''realization'' and how it came about, let me know if you have any ideas to make it interesting. And also, have you been in my mind? Those pictures are exactly how I imagined their home. And how do you want me to get you included? I was thinking of doing a time skip next, where they both have learned a bit more about their arts. What do you think?

Oh, don't worry, that'll change.

You gave me clues-- the cliff, the wind, cold at night

Book:
And how do you want me to get you included?

Don't worry, I have plenty of opportunities to interfere

Mm, I was thinking they'd find the thing in my most recent post soon, BUT they could just as soon find it when they're older. I'm fine either way.

How about we stop... I'll make a new game sooner or later-- I can't stop making them...

I'll invite you to it.

I'm spread pretty thin right now anyway (because I can't stop making games), so how about I delete this one and invite you to my next one (or 2? or 3?)...?

Book:

Okay how about:

Thizuth: deity of change and unexpected surprises (chaotic neutral with violent tendencies)
--Disruption, rebellion, opposition, violence
--Opposition includes the other deities, therefore:
----Opposition to Numen: destruction, endings
----Opposition to Braara: famine, pestilence, lack, want
----Opposition to Noric: being lost, blindness, things that are buried, stillness

So, not exactly totally evil, but violent and disruptive.

I figure that there are lots of folktales of Thizuth as a child being mischievous, but Thizuth grew up to be worse.

Also figure that Thizuth is not just male nor female, but can change forms at will

I don't think any of the deities were born from a mother... I think they just came into being when huge natural phenomena happened.
--Numen: when the universe first began
--Braara: when plants first started growing
--Noric: the first time the sun completely set
--Thizuth: when the first earthquake happened (or the first time people witnessed a big volcanic eruption?)

Thoughts?

Re: New OOC Thread

Looking at other RPGs, I found this:

"At creation, each culture will have one primary value describing how they think people should act, and one social value describing how they think society should work."

VIRTUE
Compassion
Consistency
Courage
Cunning
Friendliness
Generosity
Humor
Integrity
Loyalty
Perseverance
Politesse
Pragmatism
Purity
Truthfulness

VALUE
Community
Ecology
Education
Equality
Freedom
Hierarchy
Justice
Law
Predictability
Propriety
Refinement
Stability
Tradition
Vision

I really like this... I wanna do it here.

I'm gonna suggest:     People should act:           Our society should strive for:
Ossau people:             Generosity                      Community
Yano:                     Perseverance                    Tradition
Ixen:                     Pragmatism                      Education
Sabral:                   Purity                          Ecology
Abramites:                Friendliness                    Freedom

What are your thoughts?

Book:
Those all sound really good to me, that's a handy and true thing you discovered.

Cool cool cool. I'm'a put it in the Historical Record.

Since you like my choices, allow me to elaborate a little:

I'm gonna suggest:     People should act:           Our society should strive for:
Ossau people:             Generosity                      Community
Yano:                     Perseverance                    Tradition
Ixen:                     Pragmatism                      Education
Sabral:                   Purity                          Ecology
Abramites:                Friendliness                    Freedom

Ossau people:
--When times are hard, we should share amongst each other. People should be generous.
--Our community should take care of its members.

Yano:
--The desert is very hard. The most admirable people are those who never give up.
--Our culture values its traditions. If we forget our past, what are we?

Ixen:
--We are a new people, made from magic, out of beasts. Admirable people are those who can best see-- and accept-- the world for what it is.
--Our culture is what we know. Knowledge and understanding cannot be taken from us-- they empower us.

Sabral:
--The most admirable individual is the wise individual whose soul is pure, connected to the higher spiritual realities.
--Our culture is one that should respect and protect the natural world-- for are we not all a part of it?

Abramites:
--The most admirable person is one who brightens everyone else's day!
--Our culture is only something we can have when we're free to express ourselves. No one shall ever take our freedom, or we are nothing.

...Thoughts? On these new thoughts?

(Either way, it's your turn!)

Oh, sure, STRANGERS. But in THEIR OWN community, they're expected to be generous with EACH OTHER. Well, they don't even expect that, exactly, but they respect it if someone actually does it.

They're a pretty sheltered little bunch. Ossau people age 30 and up still don't know quite what to make of the Ixen and Sabral people walkin' around... (young people just think they're kinda neat.)

Re: New OOC Thread

What if Ronsi was somehow connected to the invention of the wheel? I read that Incans' children played with toy wheels but the society itself never made use of it. What if the wheel in this world was introduced through child's play?

Yep, I'll include it. Sorry to be so late, there were some familial issues to attend to suddenly.

Re: New OOC Thread

Nice. I have added to the historical record thread:

--ANIMAL: The Cave Foxes of Cloud Mountain: They are like other foxes aside from their permanently dark fur and crystalline eyes that glow faintly, allowing them to make their way in complete darkness without trouble. The foxes don't seem hostile or shy of other beings, preferring to go about their business, nobody is sure what purpose they serve yet. They seem so intelligent and are so clearly unusual that it's presumed that they were put there by the gods (most bets are on Numen), and that someday the reason for this may be revealed...

Probably was Numen, he seems to like sticking interesting things in mountains.

Maybe I'll upgrade them to be intelligent humanoids the next time there's some wild magical surge...

I'll keep it in mind. Anyway, in the meantime, it's your turn, not that I'm rushing you, busy as I am
