This is where we can go back and forth and bounce ideas, plot devices, jokes, etc off of each other.

If you'd like, I can start you literally after the sample you sent me. Is that alright with you, or do you have a different idea in mind?

Our Dialogue

So there you go. There is some insight into how I post and respond. That is an average length post. I didn't tell you what to think, feel, or even how. I didn't control your character in any type of way aside from the assumption Alice would get in the car. I established a non descript security guy and a driver, and a couple of other people. But I left your reactions entirely up to you. I left room to have some dialogue with McRaney in the car, too. Most people either skip it, or put that part of their response first, before arriving on the scene and meeting the others so it follows a more natural form of progression.

When and how often I post is sporadic because of my schedule, as I explained in the PM. But I always do, and that is baseline quality for me.

So did the other GM that was going to host for you keep at it or did he/she flake out by now?

Re: Our Dialogue

I just completed a year and a half campaign based on D&D Lost Mines of Phandelver. That one is closed out now.

I am currently running two separate solo games:

"Heimdul the Wanderer" is a solo game featuring a Vanir warrior adventuring in Hyboria, Robert E. Howard's Conan world.

The other game I'm running is my pet project that's been going for some time: "The Last Portal". It is another solo at the moment, though we may end up recruiting more players if necessary. Its currently set in modern day Earth but is going to offer the PC's the chance to travel into the World of Greyhawk. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm hoping to use it as the material for a series of novels. Certainly D&D crossover games are a dime a dozen, but this one's kind of gritty and I'm working hard to make it as realistic as possible, within the confines of a potentially fantasy story. I'll have to ultimately change a lot of names and settings to avoid copyright infringements.

So many games... so little time!  lol

PS, what "Wine" do you drink?  I'm a Pinot Noir girl!  :)

Re: Our Dialogue

Whhhaaaaat? :P

I like Italia's Rossa Dolce. A moscato. I generally like the sweet stuff and the reds. I like Mead and Sake too.

Three of my records came in. I am slowly but surely building my vinyl collection. I got Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, Bob Seger's Greatest Hits and Evanescense album Fallen, which was a Target exclusive that I had to order from a store in Canada to get. Record shops and ebay have it for sale up to 600.00. :/

I was nudging you for what appears to be a lull in your narrative! :)

I'm a fan of sake too. Mead I only had once and it was pretty good.

I'm not crazy about my generation's music. I really like the old stuff.  Bob Seger is good. I like his song Katmandu.

Our Dialogue

I like a little something from most generations of music, to be perfectly honest. But I do definitely have a strong preference for the older stuff out of the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s. The 90s didn't pick back up for me a whole bunch until the end of the century with groups like Disturbed and Powerman 5000. Bob Seger should definitely be alright. Everyone knows a little something by him. I would have to say Still the Same and Against the Wind are two personal favorites. But Like a Rock was in every Chevy commercial during the mid 90s.

Sake is good stuff. But don't actually get the cheap stuff just to have sake. Spend a few dollars more and get yourself something plum, or that comes in a blue bottle. Believe it or not, sake isn't just served warm. There are varieties that are meant to be chilled. Mead can usually be found in whatever passes for a BevMo or Total Wine, tucked away in the exotic fruit wines. Chaucer's is the brand to go for. It's a yellow honey liquid, and a little tea bag of spices comes with it. To me, the spices ruin it. Serve at room temperature. Avoid blackberry mead like the plague.

Annnndddd....

Okay.

Why don't you send me a lit of questions I can answer all at once.

Our Dialogue

As the helicopter makes its flight, Alice will pose the following questions:

Am I expected to meet up with the Radical Devils in Flagstaff or elsewhere?
Is ‘Smoke’ Jasper an asset/contact/informant of ours or is he an adversary?
What suggestions does Figorelli have insofar as how Alice is going to infiltrate the biker gang?  Am I just expected to saunter over and try to catch Smoke’s eye, or is there some other connection that she is supposed to have with the gang to persuade them to let her join up with them.
What’s the big picture? Is this a drug bust kind of thing?
How is Ross Kittredge (her former handler who went rogue/traitor) linked to this current operation?
