Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

We've got a lot of Millers in here. :)

The question is, are Vicky and Bob related?

I'll be able to put in a character sheet once it's unlocked. I might toss it into the description until then, and I should get in a post tonight.

In reply to The night (msg # 19):

I'm halfway through the Endowments. It really seems more streamlined now but I can't say for certain as I only looked through first edition cursorily.

Yes! Incidentally, I use the last name Miller for many WoD characters, including most recently, Leonard Miller, a Thinblood living isolated from his family in Las Vegas, Nevada. So, maybe there's another Miller lurking in the shadows somewhere. :)

I think Vicky being Bob's college-age daughter or niece is a great idea. We can chat over PM if you like/our GM prefers.

Not as of yet and I'm spent on XP. I think with more exposure to the supernatural, it could dig up something latent in Bob but not right now.

OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

Hey Bob,

Would there be any reason your character spent time in the DA's office in the last three years or would there be any reason he spent time in the DOJ building where the DAs office is located?

OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

If the DA was particularly persistent, Bob might be called in again to recount his story about the gang case that resulted in almost a whole squad being found culpable of corruption, trafficking, evidence tampering and other acts. Bob was found innocent of all charges but the circumstances surrounding him in relation to the case are murky to everyone. He didn't testify for the prosecution so there was no deal in place to obtain that verdict. Potentially, as retribution for not being more cooperative, he was demoted from Detective 2nd to 3rd class and the DA could have been responsible in part for that.

He could also be the liaison between DA investigators and the department, assisting the DA investigators when available. Given his two career failures, this would either be unlikely or a mandate from his sergeant as a duty no one else wants.

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

Cool. Andrea is the DAs personal assistant and if you've met with her or been around more than once or twice, then she will remember you. So, which scenario would you prefer? I like the second one as it would increase the number of times they have been in contact with each other. She's one of those people that remembers everyone's birthday and wishes you happy birthday if it's close.

I think the second works better too for the same reason. So liaison it is.

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

Thank you!

So it was definitely not intentional to make Andrea's sister's name Kat, thus making them all looking for missing Cats.  I kept laughing to myself as I was writing my post.  How macabre!

I just thought maybe it could end up being connected for same strange reason but coincidence is probably best haha.

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

It could be, I guess we will see how it plays out.  I have left a lot open for future discovery.

Night, how do you want to do rolls as needed?  I'm not sure if there's anything I would need to roll for, but I am curious if you will do the rolling or tell us what you want or if we should be preemptive when we realize we need to roll for something.
