OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

I'm sorry. I'll have a post in tomorrow. I have this project for Microsoft Excel and I do not excel. So, I'm plugging at it tonight.

I wasn't trying to be controlling, Night, and I apologize if I was. I'm sorry that I've been absent lately. School is closing in toward these last couple of weeks.

I'd be relieved :)

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

How do you prefer to GM?

Do you want to give us information OOC and have us do detailed posts IC or will you make posts for us to respond to?

Do you want us to wait every time for you to tell us what's next or can we continue to build the world/describe things that don't effect the plot?

Should we wait for you now to make a post?

I'm doing fine. Last week of my maternity leave.

You have finals and papers these weeks leading up to winter break?

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

I have an oral presentation on the 16th and a scattering of homework along with a final project due by the 18th for another class. And then I'm blessedly free for a month of time :)

How has your leave been? Do you feel ready to go back to work?

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

A month! Nice. My longest was a couple weeks. I had a January term in college, which it sounds like you don't have?

My leave has been great. It's sad to be going back to work since I won't see my kids as much. I have a three year old and a three month old. But it will be good to go back to work too and interact with more adults.

Alright. Seeing as things have been very quiet we probably need a kick start in that direction. Where the characters intend to head is not really that way.

OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

It was my birthday yesterday so I haven't been focused. With this being the last week too until mid January, I need to buckle down.

I'll be glad to post though if we can characterize what clues we have for the animal corpses. All I know is we discovered a certain number of clues but not the content (besides what we'd made it when the story was veering in the direction it was).

If you don't mind setting the scene, Night, I'll be glad to start fresh or whatever you'd like.

And Happy Holidays in advance to everybody :)

Are we resetting altogether? I'm not sure how to reconcile what we've done with going back to the corpses. If we are going back to the corpses, can you set the scene with what clues we have? That's been my issue with knowing how to proceed.

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

That's also been my issue. I am having difficulty figuring out how to proceed without some prompts. I also hope we're not going to completely abandon what we'd been building because I was enjoying our game, even if we hijacked it, sorry.

Maybe Tripp can suddenly remember some 'clues' they were supposed to find at the lab?

Re: OOC Chat: A Quiet talk in a tavern

I'm having a similar issue. I'd very much like to go ahead, but I feel like at this point in time we need to have some new reason to examine the animal corpses again.
