The game will be set in Halcyon City.


Halcyon City was first founded as part of a secret military project in 1943 with the assistance of The Professor, a golden age inventor hero.  In central Kansas the professor constructed experimental portal gateways between New York and Los Angeles.  When the gateways proved stable and effective a gateway to London was added.  After the war Halcyon continued to add gateways and began to expand as a hub where people from major cities from around the world can pass through easily.

In the modern day there are 12 gateways located around the periphery of the city and in the center of the arrangement is the tallest skyscraper in the city Sentinel Tower.  The tower is home to the Silver Sentinels as well as being the HQ for AEGIS.

Halcyon City is a massive multicultural metropolis where you can take a casual stroll to another continent.  With the links to major cities around the world it has become a hub of superheroic activity as well
