Pastry Eat and Run

When the whistle blows, run to the first station and scarf down a pie (roll a d6) then run to the second station (roll a Fort save) and eat another pie (roll a d6). Run to the last station (roll a Fort save) and eat the last pie (roll a d6). When finished with the third pie, run for the finish line (roll a Fort save). If a Fort save fails, you vomit and are out of the game. Send rolls in a PM and a summary post will follow.

Pastry Eat and Run

Millie and Breena took their turn in the race but Millie would fare far batter than her adopted daughter.

Pastry Eat and Run

Davorn marvels as he steps up to the starting position, "Runnin' atween pies? Whit kind o' human nonsense is this?" He looks around at all the long-legged people around him skeptically, but tries to focus his mind on the pies, licking his chops in anticipation.

[Private to Runemaster: 12:57, Today: Secret Roll: Davorn Fairingot rolled 3,13,2,10,6,18 using d6,d20+6,d6,d20+6,d6,d20+6.]

"Well it's not easy to run on a full tummy, at least not for us humans," Elysia said to the dwarf she hadn't caught the name of yet but found him quite amusing.

Pastry Eat and Run

The horn sounded and everyone hurried to the first table to scarf down the pie. Breena was halfway through hers when she choked and spat out the too-large bite. She was handed a small flag indicating she was out of the race so joined the crowd to watch the others.  Dantrollin finished his first and took off for the second table with Tobar, Elysia, and Davon following quickly behind. Dantollin stayed in the lead with Tobar just behind. Elysia didn't make it through hers and coughed out some of the pie, receiving a flag. Davon wolfed his down and took a few steps but something happened and he hacked out a blob so received a flag as well. Dantrollin made it to the third pie and made it disappear almost like magic and took off for the finish line while Tobar finished just a few strides behind. Perhaps a little surprising, Old Millie came in third.

Dantrollin wins 5 gp.
Tobar wins 3 gp.

Pastry Eat and Run

Davorn continues to hack for a time--of all the human dainties, pies made of berries?? The sweetness churns in the dwarf's stomach and he hurriedly pops the cork from a clay jug dangling from his pack and takes a swig of ale just to calm it. He'll have to teach these soft humans some proper pie fillings while he's in town--meat, mushrooms, roots, and nuts!
