Davorn looks disappointed as he steps up to the large jar ... he had been hoping for an eating game, not a guessing game, but on the chance that the jar would be the prize for the winner the dwarf jots down and hands over his guess.

Elysia checked out the jar, actually moving around the table to look at it at different angles.  Then she wrote down her guess and headed off to the other events.

At the designated time, an old woman stepped up to the table and ran her gnarled finger along the pages where everyone had written down their guesses. It took her a little while but after a few circles she seemed satisfied. "Thank you to all who entered," she said as she picked up the jar. "I'm Opal and I made these so I know exactly how many are in this jar. There were a lot of good guesses but no one got it exactly right. There was one guess though that was awfully close. Missed it by three actually. But the winner is a lass named Elysia. Come on up and have your prize." When Elysia stepped up, she handed her the jar and tapped the girl on the nose saying "You got a good eye."

"Good show, lassie." The steel-clad dwarf congratulates the slip of a girl then taps on his breastplate at the gut--the very muted clink of metal on metal demonstrating the armor to be filled to capacity--and jokes, "Ye let me ken if ye need any hulp eating them!"

Grinning from ear to ear, Elysia opened the jar and held it out to Davorn.  "Always glad to share," she replied and would offer some of the tasty snack to the other contestants.
