Soon enough the three of you (and one bird) are on the road again. Off in the distance you can see some mountains.

"Are the mountains our target?" Lop asked.

"Well, there is a pass through them," Richtor said.

Lop nodded her understanding, keeping an eye about her as she walked.

Roc was keeping pace with you as you walked.

"Enjoying the walk?" Lop asked the bird.

Roc clucked as they walked before dashing into the bushes on the side of the road.

Lop sighed and turned to the others "Well guess he got hungry" she said.

Roc came back out with a dead rat.

"And of course it Writtle be a rat" Lop said "whatever are you going to do when rats aren't so plentiful? "

Roc placed it on the ground and continued following you.
