Oscar la Rage, Half-Orc Paladin - Oath of the Watchers
Born the third son of the house of Rage (Pronounced Raj), there would be no titles coming for the young man. Instead, the young man devoted himself to the tales of the ancient heroes of the Rage family, fighting demons, devils and worse. That settled, he joined the church and trained to be a mighty warrior. There he was taken under the wing of Lady De Saan, a retired paladin.Fully trained and ready to make his name, he set out to fight villains and help the needy when he came across the Bourneaux Orphanage and their need for funding and joined up without a second thought.
Oscar does his best to project an aura of strength and power, but in many ways he’s still a noble boy at heart. He loves stories of great adventures and cute animals, but is desperate to keep it hidden.
Maria du Lac, Human Cleric - Life Domain
Maria was left on the steps of the Bourneaux Orphanage when she was a baby. Once she was of age, she decided to join the clergy, eventually becoming a very beloved priest by the staff and the children in her charge. When the orphanage started to have financial problems, it was her idea to put out feelers for getting adventurers that would be willing to help raise the money. She has been delighted that her idea has worked and looks forward to living the exciting life of an adventurer.
Maria is a very nice young woman who does her best to improve the lot of everyone she can. Having never really left the church, she is a little naive and tends to think the best of everyone she meets. Her clumsiness tends to come up at the worst possible times.
Zylna Fallbeam, Elf Wizard - School of Divination
Zylna’s parents knew early that she wasn’t like most elven children. While others loved physical activity, running and jumping or other group activities, she only cared about reading. Not sure what else to do, they sent her to a wizard as an apprentice. For the first time in her life, Zylna began to excel at something. Her decades spent there are some of her fondest memories. The wizard had ties with Lady De Saan and sent Zylna to be a traveling companion to Oscar and thus got dragged into the charity by adventure as well.
Zylna is regarded as odd by many. She is painfully shy, rarely speaking outside of spellcasting, she far prefers to spend her time reading and just about anything. The subject matter doesn’t matter to her at all.
