Almost done with character selection. I still need character sheets from some of the players. We were blessed to have an abundance of player submittals. Although I could not accept everyone, I added a second group so we were able to have two campaigns going in parallel. If you have been accepted, you should see that you are now in either group one or group two.

Working on reviewing character sheets now so the game can begin soon!

I am still ironing out some character sheets, but I have provided you a place to do some role-playing in the meantime.

Although it has nothing to do with the game, I am experimenting with building modular roads.

Did you build all that stuff? I paint some miniatures, but I never tried building any wargaming terrain.

Can't say I've ever picked up that hobby... don't have the patience for it.

Love it-I am too critical of my beginner level skills to start. I should just jump in and begin perfecting some techniques!

It looks like you have mastered the technique of using a thin, watered-down darker "wash" color (I believe that it is what it is called) on top of the base color to accent the cracks and crevices (folds in cloth, etc.). It adds a nicely-detailed look to the base color. I never could get the hang of it back when I was painting miniatures -- or maybe I was just lazy! :)

What is the scale of the miniatures that you paint?

It was my first attempt to paint plaid. Here is the back half. He is wearing a kilt so he won't be a bare bear. He definitely believes in the right to arm bears!

Scale is usually 28-32mm range, although this one stands a little taller.
