DM:
"King Yek is all right. Ever since he got transformed into a human he's been more interested in Big Market and growing the business, which I can't complain, it's nice to have a goal other than just being villainous. He says that someday goblins will be treated like normal people, I really would like to see that happen. Like this, you and me, we're having a decent conversation. Pppppt. Half of the topside would be running away screaming while the other half would be grabbing their torches and pitchforks if they saw me. PPPPPPt."
Andromeda listened with rapt attention as she dropped five coins into the merchant's palm to pay for the armload of fuzzy alpaca socks.
"Transformed from goblin into a human, was he? That's remarkable! How ever did this happen, if you don't mind my asking?" Andromeda didn't even have to pretend interest to pry for information, because this was fascinating! She agreed,
"This is nice, for all peoples to speak peaceably. I would like it very much for that to become the standard... except for bugbears. They are simply terrible, in my experience." Andromeda's new navy blue, starry and fuzzy socks were now visible above the tops of her boots as they kept her toes exceptionally warm.
Onyxclaw:
He looked at andromeda and Devan. "Look romda, dev....new stuff!"
After concluding business with the sock-seller Andromeda found Devan, Travic, and Onyxclaw, who was laden with a huge pile of equipment. The kobold presented his prizes with a level of giddy excitement that made her heart melt. The druidess laughed and exclaimed,
"Wow, so many neat toys! You have big plans for all this, don't you? I can't wait to see what you do with it!" She was wary that perhaps Onyx had impulsively blown all his coin on junk he wouldn't know what to do with, but she liked to be encouraging.
"I brought gifts! These are for you, Onyx, I hope they fit! Devan, these are for you..." Andromeda passed Onyx a pair of fuzzy, toeless, kobold-sized black socks with a yellow silhouette of a dragon stitched into it. To Devan she passed a likewise fuzzy pair in light green with a pink flower pattern.
"For you, Travic! The rings made me think of you, because of your fantastic ring." She passed the eladrin a pair of fuzzy violet alpaca socks with a pattern of orange rings.
Jhank:
'hey! Come on! We're celebratin'!'
18:09, Today: Andromeda rolled 18 using 1d20+7. Perception.
Andromeda noticed Jhank calling out something from across the bustling market, and she waved across to her. To the others she said,
"Oh, there's Jhank, over there! Let me surprise her with socks." Andromeda jogged over to Jhank, who she then noticed was accompanied by a pair of swarthy and shifty-looking gentlemen.
"Hello, Jhank. I've a gift for you!" She passed the lizardwoman a pair of toeless alpaca socks sized for a lizardfolk, colored scarlet and covered in a repeating pattern of dancing knives. She smiled politely at Russ and Dodger, albeit hesitantly,
"Greetings, gentlemen. Did I hear there is to be a celebration...?" The druidess glanced nervously to Jhank.
