Harria pulls off her bridal veil and tosses It on the dusty floor. "If you think the show was good then clearly Waterdeep is ready for TRUE TALENT. Hah. Thanks for the advice, Eladrin. Hal somehow wormed his way into all of our hearts...I don't know why we agreed to let him force us into this murder mystery theater thing, and me of all people getting the worst of the roles. What a stupid story anyway. Strahd??? Tatyana??? Completely unrelatable."

Urktal: "Harria, darling, it was just our first show, you can't-"

Harria: "Can't what?"

Urktal: "Quit."

Devan looked around the room, though the argument was what really caught his attention,"Hmm, true talent you say. Ah, I can see the headlines now." he says out loud, then pulls out a business card,"Miss Harria was it, might I offer you a deal. We at the Crier Talent Division Department aspire young talents like yourselves to take a step at a true stage. We can surely offer you a big time gig in Waterdeep." he says like a shady car salesman. He then hands her a somewhat professional looking business card, almost like he copied it (the logo of Candlekeep is sure sign that it was copied),"You can visit this company's address for more information. No rush on your decision, take your time." he says as he slinks back to the back of the party.

Onyxclaw followed, listening to the conversation - but his attention was more on silver.

Andromeda shrunk back when she realized they'd inadvertently imposed upon a private conversation and made to back out... until 'Strahd' told 'Tatyana' that she couldn't leave.  The druidess took a step forward and said, "Begging your pardon, sir, but if miss Harria wishes to leave that is her decision to make.  You will not keep her here against her will."  She crossed her arms and awaited an answer.  Hopefully that was just his way of saying pretty-please and not a threat of imprisonment, because then there would be a problem!

"Yeah, nobody tells this independent woman what she can and cannot do," agreed Roxanne, referring to Harria. "I have never seen such a convincing corpse being portrayed on stage. And I have seen my fair share of real ones." She stood shoulder to shoulder with Andromeda, doing her best to look at least a little bit intimidating. Even if Urktal was not being possessive of Harria, Roxanne wanted to make sure he knew that wasn't even an option. Harria could make her own decisions.

Jhank watched the other two women's hackles go up and shrugged, whatever. She plopped down on the ground beside Onyx and Silver, patting the creation as if he were a dog.

Harria laughs, and you notice she still has her fake vampire teeth in. So does Urktal.

She takes Devan's card and looks it over. "I've seen this...hmmm?"

She taps the card on her fingernails and nods to Urktal, "Urktal, why don't you take the fellas out of here, I wanna talk to the girls, specifically {points at Andromeda and Roxy}."

He's about to argue, but then realizes Harria has girlfriend backup power. "Uh...sure."

He heads to the door and turns to see if all the fellas are gonna follow him into the hall. "You guys like cards? We could play some poker while they have their little girl chat or whatever."

In reply to DM (msg # 118):

"Your wisdom in your relationship skills speaks well for you, my friend." He gestures, and produces playing cards from seemingly no where. He then makes them shuffle themselves, and deals hands.

In the hall:
Urktal smiles, "Oh man, that's awesome. I had to train for years to be able to do "real" card "tricks." But you're on another level." He produces the tara cards he used earlier, still the Moon, and then shakes it and it is a Queen of Hearts. "Only one problem, Travic. I don't trust using your deck, and I'm sure you won't trust using mine. Come on, we aren't going to play cards on the floor."

He will lead you to 6c, if you follow, it leads to a room set up perfectly for playing poker. This is where the "Undertakers" spend time hanging out when not acting.

Andromeda noticed that both of the thespians kept their vampire teeth in even now, while no longer in character.  Was this method-acting, or did they actually believe themselves to be vampires?  It was all rather strange.

When Harria asked to speak with 'the girls', Andromeda ignored her better judgement about splitting the party and readily agreed.  She turned to the boys and said, "We won't be long, and we'll be right here if you need us."  With that said, the druidess followed Harria into the room for a private and definitely not dangerous conversation.

Jhank stood up quickly and started backing away from Harria to follow the boys. No! No, you girls go on, ain't my thing, she glued herself to Onyx's side and hurried into the passage. Thank Semuanya. Hen fests suck, she informed Onyx with a sigh. I got some dice if you wanna try those, Jhank offered to Urk and Trav.

By the way things sounded, Jhank was hanging out with the wrong hens. But it was none of Roxanne's business, so she simply followed Andromeda and Harria to the other room.

Switching to 8b: Party Split!

"Poker eh? It's been awhile but I'm gonna have to warn you, I was a bit of a pro back in the day." Devan says and follows the boys (and Jhank) to the poker room,"So any rules you guys wanna set up, and maybe, I dunno, add some bets here and their."

Onyxclaw was unsure of splitting the party, but he was small, and knew the girls were strong. He followed Travic and stood to the side, sitting at taking some tools out and fiddling with a apple shaped parcel

Urk urges you all to pull chairs around the poker table, "Jhank, I'll have to trust those aren't trick dice? May I check them???"

If so he rolls them several times to see if anything seems sus. Lots of 3s. Still, he seems satisfied.

"Allright, we will start simple, 1gp to ante in, highest roll takes the pot, ties split."

He rolls 15 and smiles.

ROUND 1 pay 1gp and roll 3d6. You can also suggest another way of betting for round 2. if you don't want to play just say you pass.

Quite deliberately NOT using his Telekinesis, he proceeds to lose.

"That's a spell!" Travic said, and he headed for the noise. A horrible suspicion suddenly coming to his mind as he raced towards the sound. Getting on his broom and zipping off at high speed.

Onyxclaw heard the spell, and was off. "ROMDA!" He called as he sped off, Sikver following close behind

"Oh no!" Urk says and rushes off to help Romda.

"Blast, and I would have totally one." Devan says, and in a blurry motion, the reporter is on the case. Moving towards the others in a flash.

You offended me, Jhank places her hand over her heart as if she were a lady, note the sarcasm, in response to Urk's accusations. I weight my dice well enough you can't tell, she grins broadly, it's hard to discern if she is joking or not. Jhank was just taking her turn when the boom sounded, watching Onyx and Silver skitter past her. She rolled her eyes at Devan as she catches up to Onyx, pulling out her daggers as she goes, whatever you say, paperboy.
