Game Rules

Post Rate: Please post at least once a week. If we are out of combat you may post more than once per round without needing me to resolve it. I've seen some games where everyone is waiting for me to just say, "yeah, keep talking to each other." If a full week goes without you at least saying something OOC about how you can't post bc you're busy, you will be removed from the game. Again, at least just let us know that you can't post so we can move along.

Be deliberate: This one is hard for pbp, but often a player asks "Hey I think we should pull this lever" and then an in character discussion begins, and two weeks later we finally pull the lever. Unless there is a good in character reason that you need to get everyone's permission before you pull the lever, just pull the freakin' lever Kronk and let's play some dnd.

Maps/Theater of the Mind: I will post the entire dungeon map for reference, and I expect you not to metagame. Battles will always be theater of the mind and spells and area of effect will always be in the player's favor. This is always at my discretion. I want to give you challenging fights, but ultimately it's for character development and fun, not to be the most tactical, strategic, fight ever.

Nat 20s: For attacks do max damage twice. I.E. your hand xbow does normally is 1d6+3 = 18 dmg. For initiative you will get two full turns on our first round.

Nat 1s: This is totally up to the player. You do not have to do this but fortune favors the bold! I suggest you roll on any nat 1 table, whatever you like, here's one I like to use

The Dice Roller Hates Me/Mulligans: If you get 3 bad rolls in a row you auto succeed on your next roll, you should still roll your 4th roll to see if it's a nat20. If you know you have a mulligan coming up on your next roll you can really use that to your advantage.

Game Rules

If I don't check in in a few days do not panic, sometimes I just don't have a chance to sit down and crack open the book/notes for a few days, but I will get around to it. Usually some banter in the OOC will inspire me to get a post updated.

DM makes up rules: If I make up a rule it is in my opinion that it will save time. But it appears that it has been a source of contention for this group. Feel free to ask clarification, this helps me understand how to explain my rules better the next time. Please do not feel free to bring up the rules as written because that messes with my EGO. :)
