In the town square of Port Thornwood, a Brotherhood of Steel knight awaits... Knight Taylor.

He's wearing his full armor, except he's got his helmet off-- it's hooked to his hip by a sturdy leather strap that's there for that purpose.

"...Where are they...? I hope they show up soon..." he mutters to himself.

He has asked five individuals to meet him here at about this time (he's a tiny bit early)... five individuals whom he hopes can help rebuild the world, one step at a time...

A young woman was the first to approach the knight. Cautiously, she made her way to the man step-by-step, breathing nice and slowly. Today was not a good day so far, her mind filling with sermons and less-than-helpful medical advice, threatening to push everything else out. Someone whispered under her breath that a glass of cool water and some bedrest could help to soothe her aching head, but a terse shake of her skull was enough to ward him off for the time being.

Stopping in front of the man, she spoke. "Mr. Taylor? I am J-no, sorry. Renata." She pressed out the word like a stern teacher. "Renata Medb. You called for Xan and me, correct?" Renata looked like hell, very much seeming like a terrible choice for whatever Knight Taylor had in mind. Still, with the sickle holstered to her back, the crossbow at her waist, and the armor set over an already filthy Vault jumpsuit, she would have to do.

Clunk clunk clunk the small protectron walked along behind Renata her large expressive eyes taking things in and the Featherlike Extensions around her small human seeming ears folded and unfolded as she stopped. When Renata spoke to the armored figure Xan walked up beside Renata.

She looked up at the figure and tilted her head slightly.

She then suddenly waved enthusiastically at the brotherhood member. Before standing very still.
