Zakron turns in the direction of the sound raising his had "It sounds like there is more of them" he said to Dei.

"Dang it," Dei said, quickly trying to find the diary on the thief.

"Well, I do have a name for them now," Dei said. "But we should probably call for the guard and then discus the diary."

"We can do that" Zakron said and his eyes took a distant look for a moment as his fingers moved as he weaved a new spell "Done" he said turning to you "We can discuss things in my office" he said gesturing you towards a doorway behind a area lined with desks.

"Sure thing," Dei said, following.

You walk into the room and its a nice little space, tastefully decorated with the central space having several stuffed chairs. Zakron sits on one, and gestures for you to take one of the others.

"So perhaps you should start by telling me why you came to be hear today? And who you are working for?" Zakron said as he poured himself and you a drink from a decanter nearby "And how you ended up invovled with people claiming to be House Tarkanan"

Dei handed over the letter.

"I work at the Flicker Detective agency and just run into them a lot lately."

Zakron read over the letter "Ah, Lady Daweldin" he put the letter down "Yes, I suppose she would be interested in the book" he leaned back a distant look in his eyes "She studied under me a few years ago. A bright student" a slight smile crossed his lips "And I know Flicker of course, good to see he's finally settled down"

"So what to do with the book. Perhaps a trade? I'd be willing to allow Lady Daweldin to study the journal. But in return, I'd like you to share with me everything you know about this group claiming the name of House Tarkanan. and the power they wield. Plus anything you learn in the future"

Dei went on to tell the old man everything about her encounters with the House, outside of that one, really personal connection.

"Interesting, Interesting" Zakron said, as you had been speaking he had found some paper and had furiously been writing down everything you had said "This is concerning... I shall have to to do some research but it does seem like they actually are who they claim"
