"Now then, what does my familiar want to eat?" Dei asked.

Raz considers the question for a moment "Some chicken would be acceptable " he replied.

"Whatcha think made those marks?" Dei asked.

"I'm not sure we'd have to look at them more closely" Raz said "But I guess something was watching you for some reason, you have been making a lot of 'friends' recently after all"

Dei went closer.

After an examination of the marks and the spacing and Raz's input from his own senses you are fairly sure it was a Kobold that had been watching you.

"Now why was some tiny lizard guy spying on us?" Dei wondered aloud.

"Maybe if we keep an eye out you'll spot him" Raz suggested "I doubt he was just spying for the fun of it or I suppose he could be"

Dei took a look around to see if there was a kobold around.

You glance around and spot something about the size of a kobold scurrying down a side street, the flick of lizard like tail pretty much confirms that it is a kobold.

"Sorry, chicken will have to wait," Dei said as she headed after the kobold.

Raz sighed theatrically "Well I'm sure this will be entertaining enough.. but I expect a double portion later"

"Sure thing," Dei said.

You enter the alley way and see the figure look over its shoulder and give a squawk of fright before it trips over its cloak and sprawls face first on the ground.

"No hurt! Only watch yes? No hurt!"

"I don't want to hurt you, I just want to know why you were watching<" Dei said.

"No hurt!" The Kobold repeated "Am good Kobold. Scary Bossman tell me follow. Red Horned one so I do"

"Is your boss a gnoll?" Dei asked.

"Nah, boss has Gnolls that work for him" The Kobold said "Boss is human from..." The Kobold frowned "From Kor--- some place"

"Do you know why he asked you to spy on me?" Dei asked.

The kobold shook his head "Boss no say, but I hear you were a big spender. Boss probably wonder why"

"It's for a party at my friend's family place," Dei said. "Your boss isn't going to cause me any problems, is he?"

"I no know. I just do what told. You no hurt?" The kobold whimpered pitifully.

"No, I'm not going to hurt you," Dei said.

"I go now?" They asked hopefully "I tell boss you throw party yes?"

"Yes, you can go," Dei said.
