"Thanks Dei" Danni said "Let's see what they think"

"Where do ya think they'd be? At the tavern? If they're there I can get a performance done too," Dei said.

"I think so" Danni said "They've probably been out most of the day and headed back by now" he shrugged and added "They are treating it like a bit of a vacation"

"Good for 'em, I say," Dei said.

You chat as you head back to the Spires edge, you arrive a little ahead of the evening crowd.

The edge was still mostly empty the Longfallows were back at the bar chatting to Ferg and Desmond.

"Howdy folks," Dei said, approaching them.

"Ms Dei, Danni good to see you" Ms Longfallow greeted you both "How was work?"

"Looks like we just wrapped it up," Dei said. "And got ya a nice little thank ya gift."

Danni handed over the figurines "Oh they are lovely, thank you so much both of you" Ms Longfallow said "Will you be singing tonight Dei?" She asked.

"Ayep, gonna make sure ya'll have a good night," Dei said.

"We look forward to it" Ms Longfallow said "Come on dears let's get a table so we can enjoy the show and let Ms Dei get ready" she said to her husband and son.

Dei headed off to get ready.

Once you finish getting ready and comeback down the Inn is rapidly beginning to fill, you spot the Longfallows at one of the front tables talking and enjoying some food and drinks.

Dei began to play.

You finish your set to a round of applause, you walk over to the table that the longfallows were sat, to find Desmond has already brought your drink over.

"That was lovely" Danni's father said "You have a beautiful voice" Ms Longfallow added.

"Thank ya kindly," Dei said, blushing a little.

"With an ability like that I'm surprised you're not singing up city" Ms Longfallow said  "I bet you'd be a hit in one of those up city venues"

"Now yer just gonna make me blush," Dei said, doing just that.

Ms Longfallow smiles "But I'm glad you are down here helping the commonfolk, too many would look the other way"

Dei blushed.

"I just do what I can."

"There, there Dei" Danni said chuckling "How about a toast to a successful day, and a better tomorrow "

"Sounds good to me," Dei said.

Danni raised his glass "To a successful day, and a better tomorrow "

"Here, here!" Dei said before drinking.

You continue to drink and chat for a while, but eventually it reaches closing time and the Longfallows head up to their room.
