You make your way to the mansion where Valrine lives, and are shown in to the office where Valrine is busy working "Oh Dei that was quick I wasn't expecting you yet" she said looking up from the work she had been doing.

"I was kinda in the area," Dei said.

She quirked an eye brow at that comment but didn't comment further "Well that was fortunate for me" she said "I have another job offer if you are interested"

"Always," Dei said.

Valrine smiles at your answer "Good, good. So you see I've been working on the book you found for me" she started to explain "and I think I've found something, a secret way down into the old city.." she glanced at Freddy "I want hire you to see if this is true"

"Certainly. I'll get my partner and begin right away," Dei said.

Valrine positively beamed "But I'll warn you, you'll need to keep this quiet. As strictly speaking this investigation skirts certain rules about the undercity" she said glancing again at Freddy who looked pensive.

"Not a problem, Ma'am. I know how to keep things on the downlow," Dei said.

"Here are my notes" Valrine said passing a sheaf of papers, the passages I've include describe how the lower city was sealed and a way to possibly get to, and past the seals" she explained.

"I'll get right on it," Dei said, gathering the papers and going to find her gnome friend.

Freddy catches you as you go to leave "Be careful, I won't say don't do this. But there will be he'll to pay if get caught. The council won't take people poking at the seals lighty"

"I'll be careful," Dei said. "'sides, I did a few favours for the council already. Maybe they'll go easy on me."

Freddy looked at Dei then nodded "Good to know, but remember when you start poking that the old city was sealed away for a reason"

"Don't worry," Dei said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be careful."

Freddy waves you off. And you head down city, it takes some time and its well into the afternoon when you eventually find Danni and explain the new job "So where do we start?" he asked.

"Let's make our way down to the cogs first," Dei said.

You head back down the increasing familiar cogs and checking the notes find mention of using a magma flow to add power to the creation of the seal.

"I don't know much of what's down here," Dei said.
