Gonna be a busy weekend here. Housework all day tomorrow. Sunday we're dismantling our entertainment center and re-assembling it with an inserted end table to accommodate a bigger TV we just got. Then setting up the new TV and new atmos soundbar and with everything in new locations in our set-up that better fit the new TV. Gonna be a lot of heavy lifting on Sunday. With an awesome reward at the end. Our first 4K TV.

Congrats on the new tv. I’m good with wrapping up the current conversations with a post or two before moving on.

Thanks. I treated us from my accident money since I thought we were due to get a new TV (going on 8-9 years for our old TV). One of the lights on our edge-lit TV died a couple months ago. Since I paid put of savings from my accident money (car accident 2 years ago, my vehicle melted) I splurged and we got a big OLED TV.

Just checking in. The game has been quiet.

This is just the holiday lull here on RPOL.  Not uncommon at all.  Was out of town for Thanksgiving myself.  Too much food but lots of good time with peeps I don't get to see all that much.  How is everyone else doing?  ^_^

I’m good. Just been going through the motions at work until the next round of holidays hit.

I keep pretty busy in general, and I haven't noticed a particular need to reply IC as of this point. Whenever you guys feel like you want to move on to the next scene, go ahead, but if you still want to talk and are just letting the holiday lull do it's thing then that is fine as well.

I've got an important statement to make, which I need all of your attention for. To get straight to the point, certain events have caused me to be unable to continue hosting this game.

I'm sorry for having to disappoint you all, but the time I have spent thus far has been a (very long) intermission while I've worked on getting my life together and figuring out what I want to do for a living; I think I've found it now, and that means that I must clear space for the time and energy I will be devoting to my future.

I know this may seem abrupt, and it almost always is with these kinds of things, but I hope that being communicative and honest about it will help to soften the blow, and to allow you to move on sooner to better horizons.

I know that this site has a policy for helping games find new DMs to pick up the pieces of those who've had to leave them behind, so I went the trouble of copying the notes I made for this campaign in a Google document and touching it up so that it is now more coherent for other people to read. Should you wish to try once more to get a Harry Potter D&D game going, I have provided the link to the document below, but please be aware that I've set the link to let those who have it not only view but also edit and make changes as well.

RL happens and this is just a game. I wish you well in your pursuit and have no hard feelings. If in the future you find balance and have the desire to come back to RPol, hit me up.

I would like to clear this game from my update feed, so if any of you need to reach me to pass off the DM role to another DM then just shoot me a PM. Of course, if none of you are interested in getting this game off the ground again, then I would like to be informed of that as well so that I can delete the game as per standard protocol.

I'm interested only in being a player.  I'm the current GM for my local group and don't have time to GM two games at once.

It would appear that none of the 4 players are able to continue on as the ST. It was fun and cool twist on the typical Harry Potter.

Since it seems like no one will be picking up this game - and anyone who does will have used the link to that Google doc by now - I'm going to be deleting the game. As per standard procedure, this is your one-week warning. The game will officially be deleted by the 22nd.
