Seeing as Wands & Wizards replaces the race and background options - as well as adjusting several other things - trying to use any other D&D resources will usually prove incompatible. Don't let me stop you from trying, though, if you want to look for something that might fit.
Ability Scores
For this campaign, we will be using a static ability score array; don't worry though, it is at least slightly more generous than the the one from the PHB: 17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8.
This array is meant to give you the freedom to choose the house you want regardless of it's ability score bonuses, as well as to take feats if you want them later on down the line.

- When will this game take place? The era will be post-Voldemort - 1998, to be exact
- I read something in the wiki about Rappaport's Law? Has it been repealed yet? Rappaport's Law has indeed been repealed, yes. Muggle parents of Muggleborn withes and wizards are simply led to believe that Ilvermorny is just a private school, and are only Obliviated or otherwise mind-affected if they begin to get nosy or cause trouble. Once you get your wand, you'll be able to take it back home with you in case of emergencies.
