I'm sorry that I've been pretty intermittent this past week or so; my father died this past Saturday. Things have been very hectic. I expect that I will be around -- this has been a nice diversion at times -- but I apologize in advance for any gaps or absences.

My condolences, Sylvia, in this difficult time.   Take care of you and yours RL.  Come back to us when you can, but don't worry about us; we'll still be here.

Tomorrow will be 9 years since my dad passed. At the beginning of the month was 11 years for my mumma.


Take all the time you need.

I lost my Dad in 2010.  I was close to him.  We lived together when I was in my 20s after he and my mum split up.  I had to organize everything and as he lived in a council house (UK).  I had 2 weeks to clear everything out and hand over the keys after he die as well.  Only after he was gone did I realize how much he trusted me looking back.  I passed my motor bike test and had 125 cc bike.  That night I came home he ask me for a lift 3 miles down the road to a friend home he was going do some work for.  They need to talk before he started the work that Saturday.  Not many dad's would get on back of 18 year old son bike and be his first pillion passenger.  After than I had bigger bikes and we I take him places.

My mum still alive and only just out hospital after a nasty fall.  Her memory not great.
(unlike a lot of children I managed not to get to tied up with my parent divorce and so stayed in contact with both of them).

So take care of yourself.  Be kind to yourself and everybody around him.  Take care.

Ahhh I bet you did what I've done a few times, choosing the Private to group <language> rather than the language group. It's annoying most of the time that it has both options, as like 99% of the time you just want the language group. lol

If the public option was first, it might alleviate some of those issues.  The fact that it is first on the list as you scroll down makes is more likely to be selected in a rush.

Sylvia, Comp Lang only let's you understand them, not speak to them. Do you have anything else you want to do rather than use the scroll?
