Base - Aron's Spire
Aron's Spire is a base that the party lives and works out of. As such there are certain abilities and features that can be built into it. I'm using a modified settlement system to build this.
The Spire has three main statistics: Defense, Power, and Systems.
Defense: This is the main way the building defends itself when the party is out adventuring. This could be as low tech as paid guards, or as high tech as deathbots. The higher the level, the better it is equipped to fight off invaders.
Power: This is how much electricity flows through the Spire and is the base that the other two statistics are built off of. The higher it's power, the stronger Defense and more Systems can be supported. This also increases the odds and strength of outside attacks.
Systems: This governs how many systems can be in operation at one time and how useful they are. The more levels in systems, the higher amount and more advanced labs and other projects are.
To advance each stat, the party must spend an amount of UPBs equal to the current level the stat is at plus the level you are going to times 1000. So a Power advanced from 1 to 2 would be 3000, 2 to 3 would be 5000, and so on. Each advancement takes a number of weeks equal the the level that it's being advanced to, so a 2nd to 3rd will take 3 weeks.
The Spire's Power level must always be advanced before the other two. If there's not enough power, Systems stop working and Defense begins to break down.
