From the ivory tower that was Dolzaev Manor, our coterie is summoned by the Prince, Sheriff, and Anarch elders for a purpose not explicitly stated.

Nefertiti was a bit surprised that the Prince, the Sheriff and Anarch Elders was summoning her, for she hasn't heard anything on the streets about something or someone acting out of foolishness.

Driving up in one of her expensive cars she arrived to the summoning, exiting the car and walking into Dolzaev Manor as the servants guided her down some hallways to where she looked at a few Kindreds standing around.

Greeting, Prince Dolzaev and fellow guests. I arrived as quickly as I could. she said as she allowed her eyes to scan the room for any other familiar faces.

Rook arrived on foot, stepping from the shadows into the light around the manor.  His steps echoing softly through the passageways the servants led him down.  He nods in acknowledgement to the assembled vampires, stopping at a neutral distance from Nefertiti.  The space implying nothing more than was already known about any association they might have.
Possessed of an athletic and muscular man, standing 5'10" tall.  He wears black jeans, black steel toed works boots, a black leather belt with a two pronged buckle, and either a red flannel with the sleeves rolled half-way up his forearms.  He has dark brown hair, and  a neaty trimmed Amish style beard.  Hazel green eyes gaze sharply from beneath his brows.

Similar to Nefertari the Ventrue arrived in an expensive car, specifically a black sedan. Richard was seated in the back and his driver George was behind the wheel. Richard entered the estate wearing a sleek black suit which was clearly made of high quality, as were the leather dress shoes. He gave each Kindred present a respectful nod.

"Good evening everyone!"

Asha jogged up to the mansion along the drive with a large german shepherd loping alongside easily. Asha barked and growled quitely to her famulus as they drew close. "Best behaviour Baxter if its a trap its a trap and you feel free to go for the face or the throat. Biting anywhere else won't even distract them. If we get killed I want to leave them something to remember us by. Feel free to take a shit inside as we are leaving. Might make a nice change from the smell of hypocrisy, lies and ambition." Baxter barked aceptance and whimpered a little as he cocked his head towards his master. Asha slowed to a walk and scritched Baxter behind the ear before responding. "We are about to find out"

Asha would have had to put in effort to look more out of place in the Prince's mansion, her head was partially hidden in a hoodie that was several sizes to big and her jeans were torn and scratched in multiple places. She wore a pair of boots that were clearly not a matching pair as one was black and the other brown, both leaving clods of dirt as she walked across the floor. Her clothing was covered in old and new stains from dirt and grass, perhaps some of the darker ones might have even been blood. Overll she appeared as though she had been living wild in woods for several months before tumbling in through the front door. She sniffed at the air and wrinkled her nose, her teeth bared in disgust for a few moments. She barely glanced at the prince before moving to stand closer to the anarchs with Baxter in tow and to make her loyalties perfectly clear. Baxter sat politeley and almost unatturally still for a dog though he managed to look significantly better groomed and well presented than Asha herself. Asha herself was not a particular impressive figure, lithe and standing at five feet tall flat though she never shared from eye contact and indeed preferred to lock gazes where possible.

Ash gave a nod in Rooks directions and spoke aloud to the others gathered nearby. "So why have you dragged our asses all the way out to this gaudy place for? Nothing good i should think." Her voice had a very slight accent from her home country that she had never managed to quite shake off. She looked at the Anarch elders questioningly but did not comment further.

Dolzaev Manor

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.

Throckett flattened the sides of his cassock nervously as he bid a last minute confessor a good evening. The weight of their sins never changed, even after his rebirth, but now that he could drink them in, he felt that they left more satisfied. Maybe they felt, for even a brief moment, the glory of the lord shine upon them, as it did he. Finally alone, he made sure that he was ready. Something big was going to happen; it had been some time since he felt the guiding hand and Throckett was sure that God was testing his patience.

He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead.

He checked his reflection; the face of a young, kindly preacher looked back at him with warm, cunning, mocha eyes. His cassock, freshly dry-cleaned cloaked the young kindred in black, only broken by his clerical collar and his worn white rosary necklace. He had prepared this way every night since his introduction to this "Camarilla", certain that he still had a part to play in His grand plan.

From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

Throckett thanked God for inspiring him to put some of the donations towards community bike racks. They made travel around Shadowhold so much faster and easier than traveling by foot and he certainly didn't want to rely on Him to guide him everywhere. When the security guards came into view, the Reverend got off and left the bike standing in the sidewalk. It had the church's address on it if it ever got stolen, though perhaps Throckett would take a moment to pray for the soul who would need to do such a thing...

the forgiveness of sins, and the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.

The mansion was as he remembered it; a den of opulence and power. However there were significantly more of the saved here. He couldn't help but smile warmly at everyone there. He quietly reveled in his vindication; his faith bearing fruit. He smiled and nodded warmly at all the strangers but saved Dolzaev for last; kneeling in respect and crossing himself to give her a quick prayer before standing and backing away towards what seemed an appropriate place to stand. He dared not speak yet; for he was filled with such excitement that he feared he may never stop, instead choosing to listen and learn.

Sasha simply wrinkled her nose at Asha as if she were something Baxter did on the floor, not even deigning to respond, but gave the young Reverend a respectful nod. Luna reached behind her back, presumably about to draw a weapon, but Sasha ordered, "Nyet! (No!) Uberi svoyu malen'kuyu igrushku! (Put away your little toy!)" The much shorter blonde folded her arms. "You're just going to take it li-"

"Ya koroleva(I am the Queen). You will do as I order, madwoman." the elder replied in an accent that left no room for debate about her nationality. She then turned her gaze on her "guests". "I am sure you have each heard of the 'animal attacks' on the news, da? While our more loathsome cousins are indeed little more than animals, it is... paramount?" The man with the Charlie Chaplin-looking mustache gave an affirmative nod. "Da, it is paramount that these mad dogs be put down before our... friends, from the government decide to drop the bomb, nyet?"

Asha smiled and blew a silent kiss at Luna. It brought her pleasure to see servants humbles yet there was also a lingering annoyance and bitterness. Not to long ago she had been one of them as well. What was worse was that Asha could not be certain she would not still be serving had her sire left the Camarilla. The clans blood flowed strongly in her and loyalty to her sire had always been strong despite never being blood bonded by him as was common in her fledgling days.

The smile dropped at the Prince's inference and her voice was a mixture of loathing and anticipation. "Sabbat!" Asha made to spit on the floor but instead spat into her hand and brushed it on her stained jeans with a nod to Sasha. No one could possibly say she lacked any manners.

Baxter emitted a low growl, responding to Asha's combative change in mood. She took a mental breath and tugged on the leash that kept her beast in check. Memories unbidden flashed behind her eyes and were gone. she barked softly to Baxter and stroked his head affectionately to calm him. "Calm yourself little one. There is no battle here it seems."

She addressed the Prince and the Anarch Elders directly. "Are we likely dealing with a rogue pack? I am curious as to why it was requested I attend, I cannot say the Camarilla has made a habit of involving us in their plans, at least not until the enemy is pounding on the ivory towers door." Asha looked to the Anarch elders for a response to the last part, it was strange indeed and the situation potentially more dire than what the Prince was suggesting.

Nefertiti looked at Asha with concern as if one would dare come to meet the Prince of the city looking so unkempt.  Her eyes gazed at the mutt next to her and then she smiled at it as if to enjoy experimenting on it.

She stayed quiet but gave a nod to those that followed in after her, she even gave the slightest nod to Asha.

When Sasha spoke of madwoman, her eyebrow slightly arched as she didn't think her to be of the Malkavian Clan, but then again most think that she was Ventrue by the way she carries herself. Or was the Prince speaking to the Sheriff.

Only to find out that she is one of the Rare members of Clan Tremere to be a member of the High Clan.  That could be one of the reasons she gets along so well with some of the Ventrue of the city.

The order to put down only brought a smirk to her beautiful face for that gave them the rights to preform a Final Death upon the Sabbat.  Not that there was any lost love between them and the Tremere.  Some even believe that it was the Sabbat that cause the Second Inquisition to bomb in Vienna.

"As you wish my Prince. she replied. She then looked to Richard and wondered if he had anything to say.

The preacher's brows furrowed in confusion at the Prince's words. Clearly the slang had gone over his head. "Mad... dogs?" he mumbled to himself as his left hand instinctively reached for his rosary. It was only after the homeless kindred that brought the dog mentioned the Sabbat that his eyes slowly shifted from confusion to horror as it became clear what it was he was tasked to do. He vaguely remembered his 'Sire' mentioning that peculiar, militant, and radical denomination.

...pray for us sinners...

His fingers worried over one of the beads and he closed his eyes as the wheels in his head churned. He had prayed for a test such as this, but never had he thought that one so difficult would come so suddenly! The urge to kneel came to him, and he relented, dropping to one knee when an idea came to him.

"I think there is an alternative, Prince Dolzaev." The Reverend's tone was measured, but years of practice allowed his smooth southern drawl to take full advantage of the acoustics. "If we hunt them down, we may only cause tensions to flare. Instead, I suggest that we at least attempt to talk to the group, and if they are indeed guilty we bring them back for trial and punishment."

The Reverend paused for a moment to let his words carry themselves before continuing. "The benefits are threefold, Prince. We would appear merciful but strong. If the Anarchs participate in the trial it would show unity. And lastly, a public punishment would be an opportunity to show all of Shadowhold what exactly happens when they dare cross you; nipping potential upstarts in the bud."

With that he bowed his head and closed his eyes in prayer as he waited for the answer.

21:14, Today: Reverend Throckett rolled 13 using 4d10 ((6,3,3,1))

Luna simply laughed at Reverend Throckett. "Such childlike naivete. The only things to expect from any Sabbat dealings are death, enslavement, or being turned into furniture." Christopher placed a hand on Luna's shoulder. "Now now, Luna dear. You haven't spoken with as many of the Keeper or Stoker elders as I have. Some are... more amiable than others. Perhaps the elders may have words, and harsh punishments, for their misguided youth." Luna then scoffed at her sire. "And what are you suggesting? That we let these weeds overtake the garden?"

If anyone was watching they would see that the expression on Nefertiti's face was the same as Luna.  She despised the foul beasts of Sabbat.  It seemed that her enjoyment of giving them a Final Death might be paused but in time they will show their true faces and she will get her desire.

As she looked at all that was assembled she wondered who all might of heard about these killings.  Surely Richard might of and Rook is connected into many things.  But there was no doubt that the wildwoman would know nothing, seeing that she looked to be coming out of the wilderness for the first time in years.  Even the stench coming from her was unbearable.

Nefertiti didn't know much about this Reverend and his soothing words only put the Prince in a forgiving mood.  Letting out a soft sigh she then looked over at Luna.

Asha had heard some grumbling about animal attacks from mortals at the range but otherwise paid little attention to them, in fact animal scares was always good for business. Everyone wanted bigger guns and higher caliber ammo when trouble started brewing. It gave Asha no small pleasure to know that half the time her customers might shoot themselves or other mortals by mistake.

It irked her to support a camarilla, and especially one in such a  prestigious position but she could not bite her tongue any longer.

"I don't enjoy agreeing with Luna but she has the right of it. Better off walking into the sun and hoping you won't burn, at least then the worst that will happen is you simply die. Those Sabbat elders are the same ones that urged them forward and sent the blood hunters after us not so long ago. Tried to destroy the masquerade and very nearly succeeded. You may have forgotten that from your lofty throne but I fought them in the streets with bullets, blood and fire. Where do you suppose those understanding Sabbat elders were when they were tearing apart your lackeys and our brother and sisters? Busy making more degenerates to throw at us so they could drain us dry!"

Asha practically spat out her words and each one dripped with venom. She turned to the Anarch elders, disbelief in her eyes. "They talk of requests and begging favours from Sabbat at the behest of some priest with his embrace marks practically fresh on his neck and you say nothing?! We are not the Camarilla and i demand an answer from you on behalf of all those who would not live under the heel of an ivory boot. Do you too serve this Prince now? And you!"

Asha took several steps towards the priest and pointed a dirt caked nail as baxter crouched low and also stared at Throckett. "Have you ever been face to face with a Sabbat as they tried to tear out your throat? Seen the glee and fantical joy in their eyes with every piece of flesh and blood they carve from your body. Cackling like devils as they descend upon a fallen comrade and devour them like a swarm of carrion?" She pulled back the hood revealing the deep scarring on the left side of her face and stepping up to Throckett almost nose to nose. Though she was looking up at him due to her short stature she seemed anything but cowed by the difference in height.

"Mercy to them is like fresh virgin blood to a fledgling on their first night after the embrace. The only language Sabbat speak is fire and death. The only lesson they will understand is pain and merciless savagery." Asha stepped back from Throckett and turned addressing all present "I would question the sanity of any here present that have faced the Sabbat and believe they can be reasoned or bartered with! In fact i would say the only sane suggestions I have heard tonight came from your Malkavian Sherrif! Perhaps you should consider that for some interesting introspection"

The Reverend would have accepted any verdict from the Prince, but he would be lying if he said that he had not felt a wave of relief when the Prince gave her verdict. He was keenly aware that his proposition was an unpopular one but as it was a test from the Lord, he had already steeled himself to face many a hardship. Without another word, he stood back up and returned to his place, but his prayer of thanks was interrupted by the angry homeless kindred.

He listened intently, with an almost infuriating calm as the Gangrel raged, giving her his undivided attention. As she approached him, he could feel the stirrings of the Devil within him and clenched his fists tightly against his rosary as he pushed those evil urges down. Instead he looked with eyes unclouded by hate or fear. This woman had every right to speak her mind; it was his duty to meet her with compassion and empathy. Even when she finished speaking he waited a few moments to give her room to continue if needed, but it seemed that she was done for now.

Only when he was absolutely certain that she was done did he ponder over his reply. The Devil wanted to lash out at her, to defend himself, but Throckett would not be distracted by such petty temptations. Not today.

"Faith." He said, seemingly addressing Asha as he turned and looked at her as he spoke. The drawl was still there, but the cadence that he had spoke with was much more subdued. "Everything that we are today, we owe to Faith. Every moment of every night, the only thing that keeps us from living lonesome solitary lives is our Faith."

He lifted a hand and gestured towards the Prince. "Faith in the Masquerade."

He shifted it towards the Anarch leaders. "Faith in each other."

Finally he let his hands drop to his sides. "Faith in ourselves."

"You are right. I am new to this world, and am ignorant of much of it. I am unused to the violence and horror that it brings. But I have Faith. That we can end this cycle of violence. That they are not all the creatures that hurt you in the past. That they can be reasoned with, and, if not, that they can be stopped." He turned, now addressing the coterie, "I wouldn't ask that you place your Faith in me. If you wish, use me as bait; ambush them as they busy themselves with my body. I only ask that you allow me to give them the chance. To do no more than what is absolutely necessary."

Turning back to address everyone he finished, "Violence begets violence. If other Sabbat hear of our actions come seeking retribution, what then? How much violence can the Masquerade withstand before it breaks? More importantly, what do you have to lose? A sireless newblood? Many a kingdom has paid a far greater price for peace."

Sasha would not stand for being spoken to in such a manner, and gave Luna a gesture meaning that now she was aloud to deal with Asha however she saw fit. It was here and now that the Anarch elders spoke up. "You cammies have always been gutless cowards. Perfectly content with throwing away your prized ass-kissers the second they outlive their usefulness just to avoid dirtying your own hands. If our 'Sheriff' has more spine than our 'Prince', then maybe she's better off throwin' in her lot with us."

"Nakazyvayte etikh gryaznykh sviney, kak schitayete nuzhnym. (Punish these filthy pigs as you see fit) I see now that second chances are a waste." Luna looks to her sire, almost giddy, and says, "Chris, bring me the tongs. We're about to have a little entertainment." Of course, the elders aren't about to submit to whatever the blood-lusting Malkavian has in mind, so some go after Luna, while the others go after Christopher Michaels.

OOC: Asha and the Anarch elders gain the flaw Suspect (Camarilla) until reparations are made, in addition to what Luna's about to do.

Nefertiti watched all this in sheer enjoyment for the Prince has lost her temper and as a rule, there is no fighting allowed in Elysium and punishable by Final Death for all involved parties.

Taking a step out of the area so that she wasn't involved in no way but watching the whole ordeal take place.

Was Shadowhold about to have a new Prince.  Seeing that she herself started this by giving Luna a gesture and not liked being talked to from the wildwoman so boldly.

Rook had watched the scene without moving much, just enough to step out of the way of one attack.  Which left Sasha with her back exposed to him, as she charged Asha.  A slight smirk creased his lips briefly, as the fight was over as quick as it had begun.  "It seems the Sabbat are unnecessary.". He thinks to himself.
With the Anarch elders amidst the Camerilla, and Sasha restrained by Asha, Rook casually moves to position himself away from the cluster, in a neutral stance.  Which left him with the groups Infront of him, and Ashas' back within his sight.  He did not take sides in Sect wars, there was more risk than profit there.  Though, Asha was part of the Gangrel, so it was unlikely that he would let her get ashed for defending herself.

Asha looked around and made a decision, if no one was willing to speak up or act the  she would do what she alwasy did, survive. She addressed the Camarilla members present. "Move to the otherside of the room. i didn't want this. Well fuck. I always hoped to stake a prince one day but not like this, wanted to follow Theo's footsteps and actually make a difference. This is just.....fuck!"

The beast was clearly rising in Asha as she became more confuised and nervous whilst carefully making her way to the door whilst trying not to expose her back to the camarilla. Had the elders not been their she would have already been dead and she wa snot stupid enough to beleive the Camarilla would let her live after tonight even if she released the foolish prince back to her subjects care. There was a good chance the Anarchs present would not let the Prince live regardless. The power vacuum created to much opportunasty and Asha found herself wandering again if this had beena  variation of thier plan all along. or whether Asha had just stumbled into well laid plans with her big fucking mouth. She reaosned that whatever the cause it could only end one way and it seeemd painfully clear that the only way to survive would be to stick with the anrachs 100% and serve as she did before.

The beast inside railed agaisnt the decision. Service was a fancy word for being chained and heeding commands like pet. She looked to Baxter and spoke softly in growls and barks. "In the end their is no difference between us. Get ready to run if you can escape then leave me. you were the only innocent creature in this place." He barked angrily asnd Asha smiled despite herself. Baxter rarely never disobeyed her requests before and it was a small comfort that if she were to finally meet her death it would not be alone.

Asha addressed the elders "Lets go, it looks like we have a war to prepare for now. I would ask you spare the others here so long as they do not try to stop us leaving, i ould say you owe me that courtesy at least." Asha chuckled bitterly through gritted teeth and spoke to the room in general. "Kullu Nafsin Zaa'iqatul Maut.(Every soul will taste death). Long live the Prince.". With cold eyes she pulled the trigger.

Rook stood there as she backed up.  Watching her, and the room.  He was no servant to the white tower, it was a matter of courtesy that he adhered to more than one of their traditions.  And he understood her flight, though he did not participate in it.  When she was at the door, and pulled the trigger, he saw the flash of fire, and the head engulfed in flame as she ran.  "That is one way to increase business.". He thought to himself.  He was unmoved by her flight into the night, though secretly, he hoped she'd make it.

Nefertiti looked to Richard as the wild woman pulled the trigger and a bullet pierced the back of Prince's neck.  It was a serious result and seeing the Prince fall down only made her mind race as to what should she do.  Surely the guards in the Manor would be here quickly by the sound of the bullet.

She made sure to watch the Anarchs make haste out of the Manor and be on their way as she did.  But in time they will be captured and brought to trial.

Once all was settle she moved to the Prince to make sure she didn't reach her Final Death, cause she would be dealing with a trail herself of her own actions within a Elysium.

"That wasn't what I expected from this meeting. she said as her fingers ran over the wound in the back of the neck.  Hoping to see if she is able to dislodge it.

"One does not go to an Elysium expecting to be attacked for speaking.  It negates the whole point of Elysium.". Rook states matter-of-factly, his tone neutral.  Though the point remains, there is little point in the Camerilla, if they cannot adhere to their own rules.

"True Rook, and one doesn't meet a Prince in a foul attitude. she replied as she stood over the body of the Prince making sure that there is no other harm befallen upon her.

Turning to look at Rook "Even you came with respects of their station. she gave him a smirk knowing all too well about his own secrets.

She waited for the guards to come and take the Prince away to a secure area.

"I came expecting Elysium to hold.". He replies to her, his tone neutral and business-like.  Though it does leave open the question of why a Prince would be so rash, when there are far easier and Elysium abiding ways for a Prince to enforce their authority.  Such as banishment.

Confiteor Deo Omnipotenti, beatae Mariae semper Virgini, sanctis apostolis omnibus sanctis

The Reverend had reverted to a near catatonic state as the chaos, seemingly out of nowhere, exploded around him. It was just like Winthrop all over again, but this time it was Saved against Saved. The battle only lasted a few seconds but in those moments Throckett was sure of one things: why God had placed him here. While he knew precious little about the Sabbat, the preening and posturing of the rest of the Saved indicated that they too, were simple moments away from pure degeneracy. He could not do anything as ash, however, so he watched with eyes streaming bloody tears of sorrow as the Kindred fell before him.

Mia Culpla, kyrie eleison

For a brief, pitiable moment, hope shined in his eyes as Asha restrained the frenzied Prince. But that hope too was ashed as the homeless gangrel began her speech. He could see the Devil welling up inside her taking control. He could hear that the fire in her voice, no moments ago had been replaced by a familiar icy coldness. The same coldness that befell his sire just a decade ago.

Mia maxima culpa

He reached out to Asha. For what? Even if you had asked him in that moment, he could not tell you. The cacophonic chorus that sang in his head drowned out all his thoughts. The Demon within him slowed his movements but torturously did not cloud his vision as he saw the woman raise her gun. He welled up as much energy as he could but by the will of God alone he could only muster a pathetic whisper, a pale caricature of the sermons and speeches he was so prone to giving.

Quia peccavi nimis

"Stop." He eked out pathetically, "Have mer-"

Diabolus est fortis

The shot cut his words off, his outstretched arm hung in the air for a moment before limply falling to his side. The choir was silent. God had left him. He had failed. While in time, God may forgive him, he was not sure if he could forgive himself.

Of course, with the fall of Shadowhold's three biggest power-players, decisions would need to be made as to who would be replacing them.

Nefertiti looked at Rook and Richard "I'm leaving this place before more happens. It seems that even the here in the Elysium.  Your not safe. she said as she was prepared to leave.  Allowing those of higher station to clean this up.

"You have my number if you need to contact me. she then proceeds to pull out a fancy looking card with her number on it.  She hands it to the Reverend.

Then she leaves the Manor before one quick glance over as if it would be a perfect place for her to claim.  A smile crossed her face as she exited the place.

Walking out she gets into her car, if anyone doesn't stop and she is gone.

Richard nodded along with Nefertari before turning to the Reverend. "In case you want my number too." He gave him a sleek black card with a crimson pine tree on it that said 'Red Pine Corporation' on it along with a phone number. Richard quickly left with his driver after he gave the man his number.

Rook turns, with a nod to Nefertari, and walks out the door, stepping over the corpse of the former Prince.  Once through the door, and past the manor, he disappears into the streets and alleys.

The Reverend took the cards with a polite, distracted smile. "Thank you." He said quietly, his eyes never quite leaving the ashen piles on the floor. Shaking his head, he wiped the tears from his eyes and seemed perturbed to see blood on his sleeve before focusing on Richard and Nefaertari. "I don't have- you can find me at the Second Chance Church, if you need anything of me, ask for Reverend Throckett." He tucked the cards into his pocket and nodded to the the two as they left before pulling out his worn, dog eared, bible.

He could hear the other kindred discussing topics in hushed tones and while he couldn't quite hear what they were saying, he was certain that he wouldn't be welcome for very long. He was tempted to flip through his holy book but thought it better to save those theatrics for those that would care. He closed his eyes and let the familiar grief wash over him. It was not nearly as strong as when his Sire was taken, but the loss of another weighed on him nonetheless. He suspected that there would not be a third chance for these undead, and that they would not be chosen when He arrived. Perhaps it was His will. Perhaps not.

"Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord." He spoke quietly to not disturb the schemes of the kindred.

Et lux perpetua luceat eis.

He prayed for their souls. He forgave their trespasses against him. And he prayed that they would be given the opportunity to forgive his trespasses against them. With that, he made sure that his cassock was in order and made his way back to the church. It was getting early after all and if he lingered too long it would be daylight before he knew it.
