Seedy Row Exterior
Several hours after the debacle at the meeting, a man can be seen walking down the street amid the thinning crowd. Slightly out of place, in the seedy streets, he soon attracts the notice of a one of the "locals". If the man following him had known this was deliberate, he might have chosen another target. But who attracts the attention of a violent criminal on purpose? He turned down a little used alley, cutting between streets, and the other man followed him intent upon a fat wallet.
Footsteps sounded between the buildings, slow, steady, and methodical, the echoes down the alley. If one could have seen the face of the man, a tight, knowing smirk might be observed. The mugging started much as it always had, but quickly ended in a muffled thump in the dark alley. A few minutes later the man emerged from the other side alone. His wallet a few bills thicker, with another piece to add to his "collection", and no witnesses.
When the would be mugger came to alone in the alley, he did not know what had happened, or who did it. The last thing he remembered was going to take some fools money.
