The town of Hell's Kitchen, KY and the surrounding area of Wolfe County are an anomaly to most Werewolves and even to all but the most insightful and intrepid fera. Still, the surrounding cities of Lexington (about 40 miles away), Charleston (about 60 miles away) and Knoxville (about 100 miles away) have been able to glean a small amount of information regarding this relatively blacked out area of the Garou's spiritual map.

Here's what you may know.
The Blackened Host: A particular group of spirits referred to by outsiders only as The Blackened Host has made themselves known to Theurges and Kinfolk magicians seeking knowledge about the area. It is uncertain what their nature is, nor what their goals are. They seem to have some connection to the historic mythology of the area and seem to congregate in and around the old mineshafts burrowing into the old earth.

The Odd Wolf: A tale persist among the Kinfolk of the surrounding regions of a Garou whose bloodline has always resided in Wolfe County. While no real evidence exists of the creature, Kinfolk have said that they seem to have no knowledge of the Garou Nation or its Traditions and stalks the hills only when the moon is full.

Fear To Tread: It is a widely known fact that no Garou Sept has dominion over Wolfe County. Furthermore, no packs exist to the knowledge of any Sept in the region. Historically, many Septs have attempted to stake claim to the area, only to return with little to no recollection of their time spent in the area - if they return at all. Eventually, the Septs surrounding Wolfe County have simply given up attempting to capture, claim or even allow their packs to pass through.

Folklore & Superstition: It all boils down to being respectful, even when you're skirting the border of Wolfe County. Don't whistle in the woods or your home. Don't stop walking. Don't change speed. Accept feathers graciously. Don't cross the border to help the crying woman. Always leave strange buildings through the same door from which you entered. Let the sleeping devils lie. And if you hear your name being called from the woods inside Wolfe County? No, you didn't.

Backgrounds
Being sent here, it is likely that you've given at least a cursory glance into this knowledge. Depending on your backgrounds, you may indeed know more or be able to delve deeper into these tidbits of knowledge, wisdom and rumor. Ancestors: While this only pertains to Wolfe County Wisdom if you have an ancestor that specifically lived or, better yet, died in the County proper, Ancestral memory may be able to give certain insights to the area. This is likely to be an incredibly niche prospect, but not out of the realm of possibility.

Contacts: Again, this only really applies if your contact resides in Wolfe County or has spent a period of time in the area. Depending on the nature of the contact and their relationship to the area, you may be able to glean additional information.

Mentor: Any mentor within a 100 mile radius is likely to have heard at least one story of this accursed place.
