We've got quite a big group, don't we? Sounds like we should start making our introductions!

I'm Celes Varik, a Gadgeteer Bounty Hunter, ex-Imperial, raised by Trandoshans. My aim is to bring honor back to the bounty hunting profession, after the Guild's reputation has been sullied by the likes of Boba Fett and his kind. I'm good in a fight and not too bad in a cockpit, either.

Who do I have the pleasure of crewing with?

I'm Elav Rha-- former Pantoran dancing boy for the Moff of the Sujimis sector (Colonist: Performer). Now, I'm trying to make ends meet while keeping a low profile and looking out for my found family (assuming we're a crew). Passable with a vibroknife, but better at talking my way out of trouble before it gets to that point.

I am L-8CE. Advanced pit droid, far superior to the DUM series. Escaping my former master, I've vowed never too have a master again. But I'll gladly repair your junk for an honest wage like all other sentients. I'm not terrible with my blister either.

Good morning everyone, Chizhaci the Wookiee here. An escaped slave from Nal Hutta, he does not Hutts very much. Needless to say, he likes things up close and personal.

Starting to work on the character. Given the number of players, I am guessing that it will be two parties of 4-5 each, so 10 Obligation?

Also, since we are just starting off, are attachments being allowed?

I'm not sure how we're starting out if we know each other or not from the get go, but I have posted a short description to Thal's description page.  Considering some folks are still probably working up a character and might not have decided on a career and specialization yet, Thal's a colonist-doctor if that helps.

Not quite against expectations as the wookie doctor I have in my tabletop SW game.  And I certainly won't be offering pine-cones and mud to the injured to tend to their wounds;-).

Am waiting for one or two players more, and then will let you guys choose your own teams.

Yeah. Can't quite finish character creation until group size is settled, but I'm having to work on datafiles for OggDude's character generator.

Aluin is pretty much done other than whatever changes may occur with obligations and such. He is a pretty standard Explorer / Scout I suppose.

I redid my gear assuming starting Obligation of 10 instead of 5, and my pdf sheet is updated to match.

Heh, looks like we are a pretty Charming group of people. T'voss is also a Scoundrel Charmer.

His background involves being a CIS refugee after the Clone Wars as well as a bit of journalism and talking people into things.

Quinn is done except for Obligations. I'll get those after we decide what the groups are.

Ok, so we now have 10 players, and I'll give you 72 hours, starting now, to decide on your groups, and then we'll start the game.

Sorry I am fashionably late. Got in at the last second. Xexto former podracer driver/pilot here with minor mechanic skills. Not as good as a full on mechanic but enough to keep the ship from going down. Let’s just say he rubbed a Hutt the wrong way and is looking for job opportunities outside of Tatooine.

So the basic starting cash is 500 credits with option of using obligations to increase that I assume? Since it will very much pertain to my character, may I ask what equipment/vehicles/ships will be made available to us since none of us can afford a ship or land vehicle and will need to be sponsored by someone.

Character ties would most likely be anybody from the Tatooine area and/or needed a driver for any reason in the past year or so. Maybe you’ve even placed a bet on him during one of his podraces.

Let's start with forming the groups, and then we'll figure out the ships/vehicles, as for equipment, anything that isn't Restricted, can be bought, if you have the funds for it.
Better to not buy up Obligation, until the group is formed, and then you can discuss  how high you want to go.

Not that specializations are everything, but it might help as a start. Lots of possible options here.

We could always put Elay, Quinn and T'voss in a group and see what trouble they can talk their way into and out of. LoL. Elay and I have discussed skillsets a bit to avoid stepping on toes, I haven't talked with Quinn but am willing to bet we have similar abilities as a base though personality and focus can make a bit of difference.

T'voss is not highly supportive of the Empire due to his childhood during the Clone Wars, but he is not a die hard rebel either. He has worked as a journalist feeding stories to the HoloNet and has been on several planests so the story based options for connections are there.

I'd be happy having Aluin, L-8CE, and one of the charming trio with my group, if they're interested. Gotta fill in the skillset gaps, after all. I pay by commission! :D
