"Charmed!" Soshi Ryu announces, letting everyone know they must be extra careful... if not outright kill her or some other way to completely neutralize her.

"Hold up, no need for violence now. She is an absolutely lovely lady and could likely provide us all kinds of information. Some tea and biscuits should set things right as rain."

"Is it custom to give women flowers in this land?"

Re: Chapter 2: Into the Catacombs

Loud noises, people stabbing, lady screaming. John leveled the firearm Nymph at the door, pushed the third button with his pinkie, and pulled the trigger. Two near simultaneous explosions rang out like a clap of thunder. A ring that normally was the funeral bell for a number of bandits over the years.

Detonations in a confined space no less.

"You," He pointed to the lady. "Put your face on the ground and your hands down palms out and you just may survive this encounter."

"And the rest of you. Calm the hell down. The best we can do is move as a group and escort her together, safe and sound. The dead tale no tales, a corpse is far less useful to us than a song bird who can sing to the right owner."

Re: Chapter 2: Into the Catacombs

"See, now we are talking, making progress. We can get answers and a pretty lady doesn't end up dead." Being brought up in Avalon he had a rather different core value. Though this did bring to light he needed nonlethal rounds at some point. Grenade bullets in confined spaces are bad things.

There was also the hope that with the thunder clap of the gun down here someone would come to check, that would solve a few problems.

"Really and what was that howl you did moments ago? A simply servant's screams of pain?"
Ryu isn't buying this, but will await for what Akira may say about her words.

"Are you sure she is just a pretty lady, John?" Sakura still holds the starknife near the woman's neck. "We had to endure traps to be here and she could reach here so easily with only the training of a servant?"

Re: Chapter 2: Into the Catacombs

"I will not lie to you, I cannot be sure she isnt some kind of elder dragon or a song bird under a spell. What I do know is that she is down here for a reason. If she is a hidden whore of the local lord I would hate to find my morning eggs poisoned in quiet retaliation as to her death at the very least."

"But on the other hand, even if she isn't telling us, she would tell the lords Marshals under duress. I know well your people are extremely skilled at extracting information when it comes to marshals."

"But all thing aside. We need friends more than corpses. Let's just march her as a group and turn her over to the guards for later interrogations if you find that a wiser course of action. And if she isnt what she says she is, then we know she had a hand in the theft, and she can later betray her allies."

"I confess you are smarter than I as to how this world works on this side. But it feels wrong to just kill her."
