So... if everything goes well, the lord asks for help to the scorpions. And the scorpions hire John. The lord will pay the Scorpions... and the scorpions will pay John. Of course, at the end everyone will receive equal shares.

I can't think of any other solution either, except if the lord is really needy for help and the GM makes a NPC come to the tavern and make an announcement that all foreigners that want money can get an audience and a mission.

I'm a little stumped on how to get talking with you.

My food arrived, so I'm presumably eating. The only reason I can think is as part of my 'hey do you know what is going on'.

Is there any chance you can add descriptions? I have no idea what you look like, whether you are a boy or a girl other than picture which is awkward. I don't know if you are wearing a mask or a clan mon or anything. Those basics would be really helpful

As you said, we must live by the norms of society. Okimi as a lady of her standing, will have some motive to approach three scorpions and an european guy. Or maybe all the contrary. Our characters are evil guys after all.

Okimi, Akira is wearing a helmet that covers half his face. That really counts as a mask for me. A helmet-mask. He also said that he is wearing the Scorpion in the belt.

A mask covers your mouth: the section between nose and mouth especially. The Scorpions use it because that part of the face is the one that our brains are especially geared to detect and process. Hiding it gives an enormous boost to our ability to lie... of obvious interest to the Scorpions.

That helmet wouldn't be a mask for purposes of scorpion clan membership I would have strongly thought: it's a helmet. A normal helmet.

It's not important. If you don't want to take the trouble to write a description don't bother.

Okimi, did you play a character named Tilaleria in a lord of the rings game? Your color choice and style strike me as very familiar.

None of the images, official or not, had a Bayushi woman covering her mouth. And quite frankly I wouldn't choose it.
The pic of my character suit her well.

If I did it was years ago: I have no memory of it sorry. I don't think I have played in a Lord of the Rings game on RPOL.

The character pictures are from 'Return of the Condor Heroes'. It's the same actress that plays Mulan, so if you like martial art movies it's a good choice.


I am amazed it is felt to be so outrageous to request people to write three lines about their description. But I guess it's unreasonable. I withdraw the request.
