Sharissa saw the hobgoblins arrive and sent a telepathic warning to Cass . Then she was busy looking at the little horde to determine where to best use her powers. Her sight went to the donkey mounted flabby leader, and with a predatory smile, prepared to take it on, while not forgetting the mass.
With the advanced warning of having detected the goblinoids, she got her small shield on her arm in a practiced manner, the tiefling obviously knowing how to use it and cast spells with it.
Initiative 3... yeah I rolled a 1... :P

You open a gateway to the dark between the stars, a region infested with unknown horrors. A 20-foot-radius sphere of blackness and bitter cold appears, centered on a point with range and lasting for the duration. This void is filled with a cacophony of soft whispers and slurping noises that can be heard up to 30 feet away. No light, magical or otherwise, can illuminate the area, and creatures fully within the area are blinded.
The void creates a warp in the fabric of space, and the area is difficult terrain. Any creature that starts its turn in the area takes 2d6 cold damage. Any creature that ends its turn in the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 acid damage as milky, otherworldly tentacles rub against it.
Move : Fly towards the flabby leader to make sure he's in range of my eldritch blast
Use 2 Sorcery points to Quicken Spell Eldritch Blast
Bonus Action : Cast twin bolts of Eldritch blast on the flabby leader, 23 to hit for 5 force damage, 19 to hit for 7 force damage.
Reaction : If I get hit, cast Shield, +5 to my AC, raising it to 23
Condition : No good mass of hobgoblin to cast hunger of hagar on them, or my allies would be affected by it.
Move : to have the flabby leader in range of my Hex (90 feet)
Bonus action : Cast Hex on the flabby leader, Str is the stat affected. If the leader is between 91-120 feet of me after my movement, forgo the hex for only EB.
Action : Twin eldritch blast on the leader, 23 to hit for 5 force and 9 necrotic damage, 19 to hit for 7 force and 9 necrotic damage
Reaction : If I get hit, cast Shield, +5 to my AC, raising it to 23
