Re: OOC

Anyone else who wants a shot at the last grake can take it at long range. The faerie fire eliminates the disadvantage associated with the range.

Re: OOC

This wouldn't be the one I had an AoO on, would it? I'm not sure which one Catrina killed.

Re: OOC

I had a thought - just so healers are aware of hp and can prioritize heals, could we track hp as an ooc comment, especially if damaged? I knew Bross had damage but didn’t realize Catrina was super low! Whoops.

Maybe Fain can help there!

In reply to Amorette Springspell (msg # 501):

I have found that sort of thing to be helpful, as well. In Ac's case, lots of pertinent information is shown in his "Biography" (to the left of his Portrait). The idea is to provide that sort of information for the DM and other players alike. :)

Is it possible for Bross to wave off the help so Catrina can get it instead?

Nah guys, I'm fine, if the Drake does attack me. You guys can just heal me off with a healing word.

Re: OOC

I do have a few more spell slots, and like I said I think Fain some kind of healing as well. If we can find a spot for a long rest maybe we can heal up and restore slots, but looks like we can make due without it, if needed.

Re: OOC

I'm good to heal if we can find a relatively safe space to do it. Hargrin's not going to start tossing off healing spells under threat of kobold ambush unless someone actually goes down.

Perhaps someone with a decent survival score can guide us to a cave, or other defensible rock formation? Hargrin could maybe Help with his Stonecunning in an evalulatory capacity to give advantage if the DM allows it.

Lemme give it a try:

23:14, Today: Bross Tallcut rolled 9 using 1d20+2 ((7)).

Gonna spend an inspiration to get a second try:
23:37, Today: Bross Tallcut rolled 19 using 1d20+2 ((17)).

That's better. "This... OW!.... way."

LOL! Good thought! I forgot all about those Inspiration Points that we have stored away. :)

Re: OOC

If you post the search IC then you will find a suitable place to camp. Use the light, Ned will help as well. He sleeps outside alot.

I'm thinking a rocky outcrop that protects you from the wind and some tightly spaced evergreens overhead to help keep out the worst of the rain. Some of you have materials in your kit to improve your comfort. A stream nearby may be helpful, not necessary under the circumstances if you choose to collect rainwater. Please describe the camp as you like it and prepare for a long rest.

It seems very unlikely that the column will be moving much until the rain stops.

Is a Survival Check (or some such) needed?

Thanks.

PS. Whoops, my bad. I just noticed that Bross has already made the roll (in the IC thread). Moving right along . . . :)

Not sure what the question was. :)

But if it is whether or not we should simply fast forward through the long rest and start out afresh the next morning (in-game), I'm all for it.

That assumes, of course, that nothing nor no one bothers the party during the remainder of the evening. :)

Re: OOC

That last encounter did not go very well as far as group and DM engagement go. Then work hit me like a ton of bricks. I am going to regroup over the weekend. Please feel free to provide some feedback on the encounter if it was not as enjoyable as our start. I will try to adjust what I'm doing to keep people involved and engaged.

Thanks

Like alleycat says, real life and personal health first.

As for the game, things don't always go as planned, but we live....and we can try another tact
