Faim had come to Greenest knowing it to be a bit of a frontier town and figuring the festival a good opportunity to find recruits. He was going to find a party and go on a real live adventure, a dream which lived and breathed in his imagination for years. So he set up a booth (a mule cart with a sign) and chatted amiably with passersby. He started drawing small crowds by reciting tales of derring do.
Then the scream. And the smoke. And the dragon! Here went looking for adventure, or rather was getting ready to look for adventure when one popped up all around him. He froze. He wasn’t afraid. He was just… overwhelmed. It was nothing like what he had read about. It was chaos. He knew that if he were presented with the situation written in words on a paper, he would be able to tell you what the heroes should do. But he wasn’t in his father’s study. He was surrounded by screams and smoke and violence.
But he recovered. He want sure how long he spent frozen. A minute? Seconds? It didn’t matter. Something switched in Faim’s brain. He skulked now to the sound of battle. A party had formed, it was beautiful. More and more enemies were appearing out of the smoke. Everything was so obscured.
Faim grabbed a small bugle hanging from his waist and brought it to his pursed lips and gave a burst of rapid toots. Amongst the kobolds and drakes a burst of pastel light blossomed to illuminate the dragonic raiders.
Action: Cast faerie fire in a location that catches as many of the baddies without hitting the heroes, trying to make sure and get the drake(s).

Range: 60 feet Components: V Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute Each object in a 20-foot cube within range is outlined in blue, green, or violet light (your choice). Any creature in the area when the spell is cast is also outlined in light if it fails a Dexterity saving throw. For the duration, objects and affected creatures shed dim light in a 10-foot radius. Any attack roll against an affected creature or object has advantage if the attacker can see it, and the affected creature or object can’t benefit from being invisible.
Faim quietly lectures to himself,
“You are concentrating on a spell now, stay back and stick to ranged attacks.” Then he draws out his crossbow and loads it.
To the others he calls out,
“Dwindle their numbers, even if it means doubling up on enemies! Or focus on little guys if you quickly take them out of the fight by yourself!”
Bonus action: Bardic Inspiration to Alleycat (or someone else if you already have it)
