Malcom settles his cloak firmly against himself before taking a giant leap into the air and gliding out toward the redcaps. As he takes these actions it is as though something sits properly with him and the numbing sound fades so that he can hear properly again. Not that he wants to hear the whiny bloat.

The Bloat keeps whining loudly, but not nearly as loud as before without its speaker system. However its gassing the whole party with its spores. The Horde of Florida Man Redcaps rush the stage, along with a group of four of the giant-sized FMR collectives. Only Malcom manages to leap and glide out of range, while the others are mobbed.

Connor's magical defenses hold back the horde or his larger foe from making contact with him. However, its only a matter of time.

Nathan's hiding seems to work at first, however he gets spotted by one of the giants who smashes him in the chest. (OOC-18! crit damage.)

Chalei'nh blocks, dodges and dances around the surrounding horde...only to have her giant mushroom man just hit her on the side of the head. (OOC-10 damage.)

Malcom seems to be unharmed...that is until one of the giant picks up a table full of Gatorade and chucks the entire thing at him. Smashing him hard and threatening to knock him out of the air...(OOC-9 damage)

The Bloat itself seems to be very damaged from both Connor's fireballs and Nathan's bullet. However, it keeps screaming about how unfair it all is.

Moya seems ready to act, however she starts to glow and breaks into a bunch of digital symbols and vanishes.

The party has seen this before, and sure enough gets a message from the system AI on their HUDs.

"Wanderer Moya has been requested for the Funguy Fungi collective for a series of informercials and convention appearances. You might say she has it better than you, but she is only PHYSICALLY safe. Death due to boredom and/or insanity may still occur."

"Critics, I'm surrounded by them." Nathan will grunt after take the massive blow from one of the giants. He didn't have time to take on the Funguy mob, The best chance was to survive was to take out the boss and hope that that will be enough to pull the plug on the mob.

As he as starting to make his move he noticed the spores. he cursed under bis breath. With all the other hazards abounding he didn't have a counter for the damn floating fungus. Then he suddenly he recalled a course on fire safety, along with the relevant information in the study material there  was a factoid about the chemicals contained in fire extinguishers, one of those chemical was Ammonium Sulfate. The factoid mentioned that chemical was also was commonly used as a Fungicide.

As he weaved to avoid another bitch slap from the giant. he grabbed the fire extinguisher that he took with him from the upper rafters before the group climbed down to the stage. He started to spray all around him. He hoped the spray would not distracted his enemies and aid in his escaped he hoped that it could help counter the incoming spores.

  As he continued to dash away he made a point to  to discharge the spray all around him especially in the direction of the Orange Blob and the spores. He looked around another place to take another shot at the boss he just hoped that he could survive long enough to get there.

Action 1 Evade (use inspiration/hero point if need be. Sorry I forget the name)

Chalei'nh audibly groaned when she saw Moya disappear into digital... whatever it was called.

- "Wow, looks like the boss is more hurt than it's letting on. Guess we made some people nervous to get nerfed mid-battle now."

She grimaced as an attack made it past her defenses, but continued focusing on the Bloat. Given that it had only spores to fight with, she decided to increase the number of attacks sent its way.

Connor doesn't flinch in the face of the spores, and continues pouring his energy into sustaining his dual-sphere combo attack! The two flaming spheres continue to swirl and burn relentlessly into the Floor Boss!

And as that is happening, Cabochon suddenly disengages from Connor's Orbit and flies over to Nathan, and administers an Elixer of Life to the injured man. One of the little alchemical vials suddenly vanishes from his personal orbit, while some of the Gunslinger's injuries begin to heal.

Action 1: Sustain Flaming Sphere 1 (8 Rounds Left, Assuming 10 rounds = 1 minute)

Action 2: Sustain Flaming Sphere 2 (9 Rounds Left, Assuming 10 rounds = 1 minute)

They has +1 Damage die due to orb of life and Death (possibly another +1 DC from orb of life and death but I'm unsure) from Cabochon. Unlike the first Sphere, though, Sphere 2 is at 2 less DC than Sphere since I haven't been able to activate the Orb of Focus for it yet.

I don't know the boss's saves yet, so DM I need your help again! This will be 2 spheres. After mods, they deal 4d6 (DC 21-22) + 4d6 (DC 19-20) Fire Damage and those are Reflex Saves.

Action 3: Grant Cabochon 2 actions...
          -Action 1: Move from Connor to Nathan
          -Action 2: "Force feed" (i.e. nicely administer) an Elixer of Life to Nathan! He
                     heals 5 hit points
and gains an ongoing +1 save to poison and disease for the next 10 minutes (so basically for the fight).

Malcom manages to remain airborne. He glides over the main mass of of Fungi men, shooting a mass of steel feather into the horde as he spins in midair. However, he manages to dodge the reach of one of the giant Redcaps, and as a result his aim is off.

OOC:

Action 1-stay airborne.

Action 2-3: Steel feather burst, misses.

Nathan manages to dive free of the horde around him, and then sprays the fire suppression cannister into the giant mushroom man and all the surrounding FMRs. While it does not kill the fungus people, they do not seem to enjoy it very much. The giant and most of the horde seem overwhelmed by the spray, raising their arms to block the liquid and are able to do nothing else.

However, the other giant mushroom men manage to stay out of the area of effect.

Chalei'nh strikes the Bloat, and then blasts it with lighting. However, its clammy thick skin seems to deflect most of the blows. It does react to her first punch, once again screaming "UNFAAAAAAIR!"

After healing Nathan, Connor focuses more fire onto the Bloat. It reacts the same as with the electric monk's blows. However, it seems to be shrugging off the majority of the burning. Some marks are still made however.

Malcom tries to use the steel feathers on the horde itself, but fails to get much of a hit in due to his high speed aerial maneuvering.

Even as all this is going on, booth Malcom and Nathan feel very unwell. Mushrooms are forming on their skin, even with Yellowstripe's treatment.  The Bloat itself keeps emitting more spores.

On the plus side, most of the foes are stunned by Nathan's gambit. Three Giant manage to attack Chalei'nth, Connor, and Malcom. Chalei'nth manages to dodge the blow on her, Connor's shield's hold, and Malcom does a gliding dodge to the side to avoid a huge mushroom hand.

OOC-The enemy seems to be stunned this round due to your skill and Nathan's stunning effect. However, they will recover eventually. The large mushroom men missed.

Malcom and Nathan are in stage 1 of infection.

Everyone, including the two infected please keep making con saves.

All players are up!

Chalei'nh gave a quick shout to share her findings, blasting the Bloat with another whip of electricity before turning around and breathing fire on the Giant attacking her, trying to get as many other Giants and portions of the Horde caught up in it as possible.

OOC:
Action 1: Attack Bloat (15 to hit, 8 electricity damage)
Actions 2 and 3: Dragon Breath: 7 negative energy damage, Reflex DC 17 (Nat 7 rolled), success.

Energy Breath will be 15 ft cone or 30 ft line, depending on what hits the most targets. Can use it again in 1 round.

Connor's sighs with relief as the giant's attach bounces off of his mage armor. However, he knows his armor spell isn't perfect and that eventually, they're going to hit him. So he even more than ever it's a race against time!

Cabochon feeds Nathan another Minor Elixir of life, before Flying back to Connor to Orbit around the man. One of the little alchemical vials suddenly vanishes from his personal orbit, while some of the Gunslinger's injuries begin to heal.

Connor, in turn, continues to sustain the Flaming Spheres! The Bloat is trying to resist it, but it seems the fire and electricity is having some sort of impact on the thing so he can only continue to try and "drill" into the thing with the two blender-like fiery orbs!

"Thank you little star" While grateful for the healing provided by Cabochan he was still feeling the effects of spores on his body. "So this is what total body crotch rot feels like."

Desperately Nathan dodged away from the giant. "Don't have time to play with you, I have a delivery to make." He scanned the Orange blob for and chinks in his fungal bulk to delivery a deadly blow whether from a previous wound or possibly through his hideous pie-hole it called a mouth. Mouth. perhaps he could create an opening.

He took aim just below his nose and screamed "subpoena" and when he opened his mouth he would pull the trigger.

Not even pausing to full check his results he a new hiding spot. even if he failed to hide he hope to at least use the cover to help block any incoming attacks just which one. the upturned Gatorade table? behind one of the speaker? It that a first aid station over there. If he could get to the first aid station he might find something for the damn itching, otherwise he will have to find cover in the other two places and hope for the best

Malcom manages to resist the spores increasing on him-for now. He stays above, gliding in circles while lashing out with the burst of steel feathers. However, the Mushroom men seem to shrug it off...

Chalei'nh find out very quickly that electricity does in fact NOT work against the bloat when the electrical system it was connected to is totally burnt out. While preventing it from doing any sonic attacks, its rolls and rolls of fungi flesh acts as a considerable insulator. Her breath of negative energy does cause the horde and the giants to stagger under the damage however.

Conversely, Connor's burning orbs seems to be damaging the Bloat. The skin blackens and real damage seems to be getting through, causing the beast to roar and wave its tiny hands that stick out of its sides like flippers on a twisted manatee.

Nathan gets another shot off, sinking deep into the creature's body. However, it is clear the bullet did not strike anything vital-but did cause considerable pain from its howling whine. He does manage to sneak away from the horde and his giant however. [Private to Nathan: (OOC-You did not roll high enough to get a crit)]

Malcom stays above the fray, sending down many steel darts. However, because he keeps moving fast, his blows are inaccurate.

Despite all that, the mushroom plague gets worse on some of the wanderers. Nathan can feel the mushrooms burst from his body, causing damage and pain!

The Horde seems ineffective, reaching and grabbing, trying to infect the party and grapple. However, every member of the group's defenses holds sway against the mob. Chalei'nh weaves and dodges, Nathan sneaks away, Connor's magic shield holds, and Malcom is just out of reach.

Its the large mushroom men that are more successful. Malcom is slammed out of the air by another table, and hits the ground hard. Connor's giant double a doubled handed blow that hits his magic shields so hard it may break...

(OOC-Malcom takes 12 damage and is grounded. Connor make take 10 damage unless he has a reaction to save himself.)

Chalei'nh updated her findings to the party, and then proceeded to continue doing what she had been doing, damage the Bloat by any means necessary. Along with assisting in thinning out the Horde, of course, given that she had something that could affect an area. Even if it was just the one thing.

"Wash,rinse and repeat." Nathan muttered under his breath. Trying to get the Orange Blob to open his pie hole He aimed his musket and yelled out. "Voter Fraud"  then pulled the trigger.

Using the musket smoke to blend into the chaos he quickly finds a new place to hide or at least protective cover.

OOC: Connor accepts the attack damage, as he cannot shatter it right now with a shield as he used Cabochon last turn.

Connor gritted his teeth and grunted as the enemy battered him, but he didn't give up. He could see his fire magic was having a major impact and he owed it to his party to give it his all. So instead, he doubled-down and dug in his heels.

He stumbled back slightly, before uttering a quick arcane syllable of protection. Suddenly, a field of force appeared in front of him, and interposed itself between himself and the enemy. He then used the rest of his focus to pour more mana into sustaining the spell.

Action 1: Cast a shield spell, and it is automatically raised. So Connor gains +1 AC (so his AC is currently 19+1=20 this round).

Action 2: Sustain Flaming Sphere 1 (6 Rounds Left, Assuming 10 rounds = 1 minute)

Action 3: Sustain Flaming Sphere 2 (7 Rounds Left, Assuming 10 rounds = 1 minute)

They have +1 Damage die due to orb of life and Death (possibly another +1 DC from orb of life and death but I'm unsure) from Cabochon. Unlike the first Sphere, though, Sphere 2 is at 2 less DC than Sphere since I haven't been able to activate the Orb of Focus for it yet.

I don't know the boss's saves yet, so DM I need your help again! This will be 2 spheres. After mods, they deal 4d6 (DC 21-22) + 4d6 (DC 19-20) Fire Damage and those are Reflex Saves.

Malcom manages to sweep over the melee, and this time his steel feather burst slices into Florida man redcap, giant mushroom man, and Orange bloat alike. The positive energy coursing through the blades reacts to their undead plant nature, causing them to take extra damage and enfeebling them!

Chalei'nh manages to punch some sensitive spots on the Bloat, causing it to scream in pain. Then she turns and breaths a cone of strange energy on her other foes, causing them to flinch and fall back for a second.

Connor keeps searing the Bloat with his burning balls, causing the orange hide to blacken even more! Its clear to the mage the creature has some resistance to fire, although not enough to keep from burning!

Malcom manages to send down a rain of steel feathers, finally striking their targets. Each metal blade conducts the energy from Malcom's innate power, causing the all creatures to weaken.

Nathan has some level of success by yelling something the Orange Bloat does not like. When it opens its maw to scream 'Unfair' again, his rifle manages to go right down its throat before he pulls the trigger. A large hole is blown out the back of the creature's massive frame...however, its still alive!

This seems to hit a nerve with the Bloat, and its gestures with one of its tiny hands. The Giant Mushroom men leave any foe they are dealing with and instead all focus on Nathan! However, Nathan rolls away from the huge hands trying to grab him. However, now he is faced with 4 giants instead of 1.

The Horde itself manages to bash everybody but Nathan with their tendrils from their mouths. The strange limb from inside each Florida Man Redcaps throat tries to wrap around everyone they touch, expect for Nathan who nimbly avoided every foe!

The bloat does not spew more spores...for now.

Having been the recipient of such an attack before, back when the party was defending the Frog Village, Chalei'nh nimbly dodged the tendrils as they streaked by her, all the while continuing to keep up the pressure from her attacks on both the Bloat and the Horde given that the damage the group had been piling onto the enemies was starting to add up. It did throw off her breath attack however, and this time she felt it would take a bit longer to catch her breath again.

His strategy to get a opening to find a vulnerable spot to attack the Orange Blob has also resulted in far too much attention from it's minions. "Ever hear of the first Amendment you big baby." As he desperately moved to avoid the incoming  bitch slaps from the giant shrooms he snapped off another shot. again he sought cover that could provide need shielding if not actual concealment from the big quartet of doom

Malcom sends more glowing steel feathers among the horde. The wide spread of damage plus the glowing energy seems to do the Florida Men Redcaps serious harm. He does land in front of Nathan, and position his wings around him in a defensive stance. Effectively keeping two of the giant mushroom men separate from the sniper.

Chalei'nh only damage the bloat with her first blow. The other bounces off its massive bulk.  Her energy blast breath once again sweeps over the other foes to a minor degree.

Nathan rolls under another table, forcing the giants to chase after him. He does manage to get a shot off at the Bloat, hitting one of the glowing pustules on its broad back. It bursts, causing another loud scream from the creature.

Connor rolls the two burning orbs back and forth, back and forth over the immobile bloat. Even with its resistance to fire, more orange skin gets blackened and charred.

Malcom's steel feathers begin to do serious damage to the horde, witch seems to be hanging on by a thread. He then lands and blocks off two of Nathan's attackers.

The bloat seems to understand its in danger. It gestures at Nathan, and the horde stops focusing on the others and heads right for the sniper! Shooting many throat tendrils in his direction. However, the Horde is so weakened there are barley any left. Despite that, tendril after tendril proceeds to wrap up the sniper! Crushing him and trying to grapple.

The Larger Mushroom men are somewhat distracted. Only two head for Nathan, while two more are forced to contend with Malcom. The warrior deflects each giant fist with ether of his metal wings.

Nathan however finds himself grabbed by both giants, clearly planning to play tug of war with his body...

Remember, this takes 1 action and counts against your multi attack penalty. Thus if you escape with one action, your next attack will be at -5. You may make more than one escape attempt, but it count as an attack a minus purposes. The third escape will be at -10.

Seeing the Bloat now very visibly injured from the party's combined attacks, Chalei'nh simply continued what she was doing -- minus the breathing energy over the Horde. While she was still relatively new to the feeling, she had the impression her lungs still needed to recover from the blasting she did, but would be good to go in a few more seconds.

Connor shifted his attention to behind him a bit, to where Nathan was. somehow, 2 of the giants had slipped around them and were manhandling him like a rag doll! He made a quick mystic mudra with his hands, and suddenly one of the Flaming Spheres leaped away from boring into the Bloat and slammed into one of the Giants that were grappling Nathan as Connor tries to burn his companion free! He assess the battlefield, and if possible tries to catch the other attacking Giant in the Sphere's heat too!

As both of his Spheres launch away from the Bloat, Connor sustains his shield spell and hunkers down.

As for the Other Sphere, it too bounced away from the bloat, and it slammed into the enemy...somewhere, depending on certain conditions...

OOC: Okay DM, so I don't want to roll or anything as there's too many variables on this that needs your judgement, and based one certain things, the targets may change. So instead let me tell you what Connor is trying to do, and I'll let you adjudicate how much or how well he can follow through with his idea:

1.) Move Flaming sphere 1 from the Bloat over to Nathan. It's a small mobile square-sized AOE fire-ball basically, so if those 2 giants who are attacking Nathan are next to one another Connor can hit them both with 1 orb. If not, there may be horde adjacent to them that he can hit with the fire while also hitting a giant. So now you can seer what I mean that how Connor's turn goes kind of depends on the battlefield and the position of the enemy. So my priority of attack is as such:

-Hit both giants that are attacking Nathan, if possible. If he's really lucky, he can hit both giants and clip some of the horde! But the giants are priority.

-Hit 1 giant and also damage adjacent Horde. The Horde, if not the Giants, are probably weak to the sphere since not only is it fire but its technically 4d6 damage of AOE.

-If 1 Sphere can kill one of the Giants grappling Nathan, Connor sends the other sphere to try and take down the 2nd giant attacking Nathan, clipping horde if possible.

-Worst Case Scenario, if a Sphere cannot hit both giants or clip any horde, Connor sends a Flaming Sphere still to try and kill one of the Giants attacking Nathan, but positions the orb as best he can to try and not only damage the 1 giant, but also burn the vine tendrils of the second Giant. If this doesn't kill the 1 giant, Connor sics the 2nd sphere on it and tries to burn it up with what amounts to 8d6 AOE fire damage. My thought is that if I cannot kill both giants, I still may be able to take 1 out and also fully break the grapple on Nathan by burning the vines of the other one.

EDIT: Rolled the reflex saves for the Giant Mushroom(s):

DC for sphere 1 and 2 is about 21 and sphere 2 is about 22. So that means not only did they fail the saves, but Sphere 1 Crits. Sadly, the crit roll was low on most die rolls but the 2nd sphere was high on rolls so it evend out and did a nice chunk of damage! ^_^

16 fire on sphere 1, and 15 on sphere 2. This is technically an AOE fire effect if it clips anything weak to fire and/or AOE.
