“My good fellow, I know that the banquet; you call your next meal is important to you, but if you want to enjoy many more such delicacies it might be prudent to comply to my request,” explains the Vulcan in his best logical form of communication.

OOC: I only presuming Adderro is the muscle and knows about guns and stuff (ie how to kill things), but its a fun space farce if he does not? :)

Adderro lumbers onto the bridge of the ship and glances around. You notice he has the drumsticks,( all 6 of them) of a Gobblette food bird. Similar to an earth chicken/turkey. A chunk of deep fried bird disappears into his mouth as he asks,"Who needs hurtn?"
Before any can answer Takk beeps/exclaims,
"Sensor ghost is moving in on an intercept course. Still under cloak!"

OOC: He is but his species are considered primatives by galactic standards. They don't know common tech, or math,or manners,....

“Shields up," commands Stavock, “Ospec send a hail to that craft and ask their intent!”

“Battle stations,” He says turning to the four-armed giant, "prepare to send a volley at the heat signature of that craft if they target us and if they prepare to shoot Adderro.” The Vulcan then turns to the Breen. “At the least inclination Takk that you notice that they plan to shoot, I want you to tell Adderro to intervene first and cause them to rethink their actions.”

“If we have no choice, I want us to send a photon torpedo at there last known location, perhaps locked on to their admission and subdue their craft.”

Takk sends a series of chirps and whistles your way,(and the sound of a comp core crashing). You feel the ship pitch and roll as Takk adjusts the ships flight even further. The familar almost sub audible sound of the sheilds being raised reaches your ears. Adderro a growling and states,"Weapons targeting systems can't get a lock, going to your plan B!" You see him grip the firing throttle in a death grip and his finger over the firing input board array.
"I'm getting their reply," says Ospec shaking his head. "They are dirty Orion reavers and pirates."
No sooner does he say this then the coarse voice of a jaded Orion thug come over the speakers.
"This is Villik of the Orion ship <Red>Fire Dancer, surrender and prepare to be boarded. Surrender your cargo and any nubile females aboard and you will not be harmed. Refuse and suck vaccum till dead,...."</Red>
Takk at the Nav station chirps," Orion interceptor decloaking. Two more on an intercept course. ETA 5 standard galatic minutes."
Ospec always the pragmatist says," If we hurry we could make Rigel X. The defense force there would help us,...maybe,..

In response to Ospec words the Vulcan states, “evasive manoeuvres to Rigel X Takk Takk,” and then moving to  Adderro. “Mr Adderro if you could launch as we turn and hit them a mid-ships I would appreciate that!”

“Give them static Mr Ospec, and any garbled response of an explanation to them that they have damage our navigation controls; which might not be far from the truth and try and stall for time!"

The Breen navigator calls out,"Direct hit on our aft! Evasive manuvers, the other orion ship is still on an intercept course." He huffs the sound of computer core fans and beeps plus a gurling annoyed sound coming from his audio  transmitter.
"I am loading a full spread or tordedos in the launcher", growls Adderro. "Switching to the aft disruptor while the launcher is loading those ancient chemical detonators on those pitiful missiles."
You look at your comp board. The sheilds are holding. The Orions did score a hit but the shot did not penetrate. Sheilds down by 25%

A'dderro rolled 2,2 (miss his shot goes wide.)

“Divert shield energy to rear deflectors (now that we are fleeing them) and target their engines; if they cannot follow us, we can leave them stranded and perhaps their fellows might lose interest in us if we keep disabling them.”

Stavock surveys the scene in the monitor, he saw the Orion ship now decloaked, but now they had raised their shields and had not been touched by their counter attacks. But the battle had only begun and if they could loose the first craft, then the other two ships would be out of range and too far to away to intercept them. The Orion ship was a smaller craft but of little difference and as its shield were at max; it would be difficult to penetrate their hull till they fell.

“Barrage that vessel Mr Adderro, eviscerate their defences!”

Ospec say's , "I am getting a communication from Rigel X. They are saying that the Orions we are currently fighting are of the "Blood Razor", clan. This clan while not recognized by the planetary authorities ; are in control of the space lanes around the system,....that is until another clan or the Federation come to quell them."
Looking at your board you are almost there. Hopefully there will be no lucky shots on the orions part,.....

“Thank you Mr Ospec and thank you Mr A'dderro, fine shooting,” said the Vulcan in a true form of Vulcan gratitude; with no glimmer of emotion; only pure logic. “Let us be gone from here with haste Takk Takk” he continued speaking, now directed towards the pilot, with no formal title as he does not know what Takk Takk is and slowly walks to his captain's seat, watching the monitors and listening for the slightest change in the ship's sounds, “keep the barrage, we not want these pirates to become complacent and think every passing junk is target practice.”

You hear A'dderro growl and chuckle again and the comp tone of him sending at least 2 more spreads in the orions direction before thyey are out of range. Your Tellarite freigther makes it's way into high orbit and and through the view screen you see an assortment of craft around the planet. From majestic Deltan royal barges, to hulking Gorn warships bristling with weapons. From the motely to the demure. Thousands of beings plying their trade or vice on Rigel X
Known for a swashbuckling reputation the Rigel systems are the place to find either wealth and fame, or death or infamey. This is were the holiest of holys share streets with the blackest of hearts. Being independant of the Federation, the Klingon and Romulan empires. The lords of the Rigel systems enjoy all the galaxy has to offer for better and for worst.
"We are being hailed," says Ospec. "They are asking we state our business before we dock at the port."

“Let not leave a body count,” he concludes, “set weapons for stun and be cautious.” he turns to Osperc, “A'dderro and I shall enter first you keep hidden with the artefacts till we can ascertain whether it is safe for you to come in. We will keep in transmitter short range, but if there is danger and I communicate with you and I include the word 'safe,' then it is not; that means we are in trouble, perhaps captured and may need assistance.”

Takk Takk nods, gives off sounds(sounds of a bring gargeling and comp chirps). He then gives a thumbs up and turns back to his board beginning his tasks. A'dderro holsters an oversized sidearm,(projectile likely), and two large broad swords to his back. Ospec, after donning his Ferrengi phaser says," I will keep the channel open. I do not believe there will be an issue with Gurr,....but we have been there before."
Stepping out into the early night of Rigel X is a bit cold(I assume they donned proper clothing), there is snow falling and the air is below freezing. At the docking bay you speak to the dock master. A stocky human of middle years. His coveralls and head wrap stained with lubricant and oil.
After which you make your way to Gurrs establishment. There are two ways to go. One is through the docks and around a salvage yard. The other will take you through a portion of the city and to Gurrs. That is of course if you travel by foot. A transport could be summoned. The city what you can see of it is a mismatch of glitz and grime. The older parts of the city where the newer parts are built on are/were old terraforming generators and industrial plants. These act a supports and foundations for the gloss steel and shiny lit spires and buildings of the upper elite and tourist areas. So muddled are the contrasting structures that it is not uncommon to see chemical fracking plumes of fire and smoke lick the night sky between beautiful buildings of glass and steel.

Stavock waits till the transport stops and allows his fellows to enter before he does.

The way to Gurr's location through a part of the city is short. The crowds of beings milling through the streets makes travel slow. Looking out the windows of the transport. A simgle engine hover craft made for 5 people, you notice there are almost every type of beings here. From countless planets and social and economic class.
Dispersed among them are the planetary defense force troops. Humans mostly. Their mismatched armor and weapons, no signs of rank or uniform insignia  betraying them as hired guns and enforcers, They are hard to pick out among the other mercenaries and pilots moving about in the night. You see some well off beings their own clothing setting them apart as well. Then there are the downtrodden wretches. Beggers and street urchins begging for anything a passerby might hand them.
In the distance you see small shuttles and fighter craft entering enclosed hangers in towering buildings. Still some land on open landing pads. Their exhaust melting the fallen snow and ice of these pads. Displayed among these you see advertisements offering lodging, repair, and other services. You also see gaudy neon like signs and holos advertising vice and all manner of services to the most base desires. Beside you A'dderro grunts taking it all in. Speaking to you he says,"This is a good place to drop off our little merchant sneak thief." He is pointing to a semi respectable spot outside a semi respectable tap cafe.

A short distance away you come across Gurr's establishment. A squat low building that at one time was a pawn broker,(and had fresh paint). In the haze of the winter storm you can make out the singular entrance. The entrance at the moment is flanked by Naussican men. The upper rim of the facing wall, you detect optical security, pointed at the road in front. Neon signage stating GURRS in bold gaudy lettering flickers as small particles of ice strike the neon tubing.

Entering you are greeted by darkness, as the interior is dimly lit. In a sec you spot Gurr sitting behind a battered desk tapping greasy fingers on a data pad. In the other hand he holds a Vilek drumstick in his hand. You see him chewing and nodding to a duo of Nausicaans. They have the look and bearing of outlaws and are speaking with Gurr.
"We will be back if you have more work. However next time, make sure that blood can be spilled during the assignment. My crew got bored on this run."
The other Nausicaan grunts his agreement as Gurr waves a hand at them saying. "That is what I love about you Gok. You are a blunt instrument literally no finesse or refinement to you. I of course will keep you in mind if anything comes up you and your crew are suited for." With that he waves a hand dismissing them. The outlaws glare but hefting the weight of their pouch they bear smiling tusk filled mouths and walk out into the cold. Gurr turns to you a sly smile on his face.
