The unknowns are what worry me as well. But sooner or later we will have to either confront them, or wait for them to leave.

Re: OOC

Can Larathiel understand the language being spoken?  Aladin has been our translator lately.

I don't remember if they are speaking imperial or the local language. Did I mention that at some point?

What language did Aladin use when he first addressed the current group?

I think it was Arabic. Aladin is from this region.

Re: OOC

Then they were speaking Sand too. So the rest of the group wouldn't have understood what was being said, unless they knew that language.

Re: OOC

Larathiel does not speak Sand (she speaks Imperial, Elven, Shinobi Elven and a little bit of Mingese, mostly in a high art context), but if I repeat it to Aladin to translate I don't think it will get too garbled in the process of transmition.

I believe we are going to follow them discretely and spy on them with my magic, right team?

Re: OOC

I think we can just follow a bit behind them? It's dark and they carry torches, so we should be effectively invisible to them as long as we don't get too close. Of course, if the entrance is guarded stealth is very much a dubious proposition from that point on, but hey, that's why we have an 8 foot tall ogre in the party.

As stealth seems to be the option the group has decided on, let's go wtih that.

Hopefully if any cultists come across the camels, they will assume that they belong to some other cultists and leave them alone.

Re: OOC

I guess that's one way of looking at it.

In reality, it's just me getting an idea for the next campaign I'm going to run in this setting. And I need to make some changes.

I guess that's what I get for not being back to work yet and being focused on my creative side instead of hiking all day.

Aladin has talked about taking the camels to a place were they can be 'brought down to' to be safe...so he has talked about going underground.

As there is no light down there, you can't see anything. Not even the corridors. Or your own hands.
