The Cursed City (Main)

As they hid and waited in the darkness, the group and the camels suddenly were caught in a coughing fit. And they could see the light approach them.

[What do you do? They haven't seen you yet, but you still have darkness to worry about.]

In reply to Dragondog (msg # 1):

Aladin will lead the coughing dumb beasts away from the light...thinking about what illusion would explain this.

Gurth pulled back with the rest of the group and again took up a spot to watch down the tunnel towards the entrance.   He drew his axe-hammer and waited in case the intruders to get closer.

In reply to Gurth (msg # 4):

Aladin suggests an illusion of a wild camel...that runs from any that approach it very fast.

"If we get far enough away from the rest, even if they follow the camel and it leads them to us, the sound of combat will be so distant so the rest will be unlikely to hear. Lets get moving then."

The Cursed City (Main)

Larathiel had been taught her illusions so that she could create images that would ago along with her music and dancing. "I've made illusions of palaces, figures of legend, armed samurai, horses-but this will be my first camel." she whispers. She draws on her magic to create an illusion of a wild camel; since she doesn't want to draw attention she unusually does not dance or sing while using her powers. With Aladin's help, she does her best to make her illusionary dromedary convincing.

Keira's shadow slid along the tunnel, following the rest of the party.

OOC: Let's go with that then. I get a feeling they will follow a wild camel (because - free camel!), but maybe they have better things to do.

Aladin suggested that Larathiel should use her magic to create the illusion of a camel and then he led their camels further into the tunnel.

Larathiel weaved her magic and the illusion of a camel stood before them. And as the worshippers approached the tunnel they were in, she ordered it to run, and it left the tunnel in a gallop. When it came too close to the worshippers, it turned away from them, and continued running.

The light continued approaching them.

[What do you do?]

[Aladin is now a turn's movement further into the tunnel than the rest of the group. And Keira is still a shadow on the ceiling.]

Let me understand, the Camel is running away from the other group towards us?

The Cursed City (Main)

The group moved further into the darkness of the winding tunnel, touching either wall as they moved to make sure they didn't walk into them. Drawing the worshippers further away from the main chamber.

As the others caught up with them, one of their pursuers said some words, made some movements, and illuminated a 10-yard radius area around himself, encompassing all of them. The four pursuers all dropped their torches and drew weapons. Two of them, including the caster, held swords, one held an axe, and one held a spear.

[What do you do? They are about 10 yards away from you.]
